Merging mispelled albums

Sometimes it happens to scrobble a mispelled album or song. The mispelling can be even for a single letter, like in this example:

http://www.last.fm/it/music/Archive/Crontrolling+Crowds

http://www.last.fm/it/music/Archive/Controlling+Crowds

The second one is the correct entry. We absolutely need back an option for reporting mispelled entries (so that admins will provide to merge them in their server) or a new automatic way for last.fm to implement these reports and avoid mispellings. :)

They did have some fixed for a short while, then some error happened and now some of my albums are split into 2 again.

Really wish they would fix this probably, easy to fix, problem already.

It will come back after the new catalog manager is live. It looks like it will also take care of a lot of other problems like case issues et.c.

The option to provide feedback on catalogue spellings is currently in progress, as part of the catalogue project.  We should have more information on this soon.

Jon, honestly man...
...have you really no clue how little credibility a statement like "option to provide feedback" has for a lot of us?  Do you not get that, early on in this beta launch, many, many, many, many users provided lots and lots and lots of COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY IGNORED FEEDBACK?!?!!??!?!!?!??!??!?!?!?!?!?!

Yes I'm thinking of the API but it applies to everything else.

Do you really not understand just how poorly this beta is going?

Sorry.  It is just really frustrating to see this game face.  I get that you have to put it on from a professionalism standpoint, but I don't think you get just how hollow it rings.  I just get no sense that Last.fm really understands just how bizarre this beta launch has looked.  Like, none.

It gives me pretty much zero confidence that any feedback provided will be incorporated into any decisions that Last.fm will make in the future.  Do you understand that?

Something that might quell my concerns would be to see what feedback Last.fm received during the April '15 - August '15 opt-in period.  Would that be possible?  I suspect not but I figured it'd be worthwhile to ask.

jdawg70, it sound like you are confusing feedback on catalogue spellings (i.e. suggest autocorrects) and acting on user's change requests and bug reports.
