Hi, my scrobbles don't seem to make it to the website. Over an hour ago the scrobbles suddenly stopped, although they are definitely being submitted by my device.

Hi guys, my username is "excusemeno" and my Last FM just stopped collecting my scrobbles 2 days ago. I became aware now of this problem, i was using the Spotify Scrobbling tool and now is not working. I have a Motorola E4 Play (Android 7.1.1) so i tried de Scroball app and it didn't work, and neither the Open Web Scrobbler so is a problem with my account and i don't know what to do.

TONS of problems with the scrobbler these days, past three weeks. What appears in the scrobbler doesn't always display in the Last'fm page for my account, currently not displaying as well. I know it's not my computer. If I had aa dime for every time the scrobbler shuts down unexpectedly....

I have been resetting passwords, redownloading apps, resetting access to last.fm from Spotify and nothing is working. My scrobbles still aren’t showing for 3 hours now.

I checked on my android phone and everything I've played has been scrobbled.  If your scrobbles aren't being registered then perhaps its a server issue as this happened to many of us a few weeks ago then suddenly went away and our scrobble appeared suddenly.

It always depends on the scrobbling app and/or method if it is able to cache scrobbles when something isn't working on the submitting side or elsewhere. So if you use the official Last.fm Android app for scrobbling local files or streaming sites, it usually caches them. If the scrobbles are older than 14 days, they will not be accepted anymore.

Spotify scrobbling with the Last.fm feature in connected apps will only add up to 50 recent scrobbles though, because the Spotify API does not offer more than that.

By the way, the problems from this morning with Spotify should be fixed now.

So this still seems to be an issue. Spotify has not scrobbled a single thing I've listened to all day.

I disconnected Spotify and reconnected it again and it's scrobbling now, but... this doesn't really seem fixed. Why did it stop scrobbling again today? Where are all the songs I played during the day?

Love how you call it not working again SOLVED! I predicted the problem of scrobbling screwing up and here we go again. Keep defending the site is better than the older site. BS it is. Every day or two is not flipping better.

IDK who you're referring to but personally I've seen strange issues like double scrobbles and delayed scrobbles from one kind of device when others are received like normal.  Personally I believe they've got server issues which affect different users in varying ways at different times so no two users get the same results on any given day.

About a month ago none of my mobile scrobbles were being displayed on my page for around a week then suddenly they appeared as if they'd been tallied overnight and they've been showing up ever since but that's not to say the server won't act up again..

Have you tried giving them feedback on this issue?  Just add your last fm username to the end of the link below and tell them what is happening to you.

Excuse me? Who em I talking to. Who owns the damn site dude? Why ask a dumb question as that? I am talking to the owners and developers of the site that claimed it was fixed. Just because two people do not have the same issue does not mean the site owner and developers keep the site running smoothly dude. Damn, some people. I am not ever going to pay premium for hardly anything extra on this site. If this site was running hell of a lot better then maybe, maybe I would think again about subscription, but still has to have more than just few extra features for it. Why would I give feedback to people that do not care if the site runs smoothly anyways. To talk to doormats.

I used Universal Scrobbler which I log in to everyday. Until now. Last. Fm refuses to let me log in. This scrobbling thing is becoming a pain in the ass instead of being fun. I'm getting enough slowly

I used to have several scrobbles from one artist, but all scrobbles disappeard! (I didn't remove those) Also, when I try to scobble that artist again, it doesn't go to my library. I can see it ONLY in my latest scrobbles list. (I have no problem with other scrobbles; using Web Scrobbler app, Universal Scrobbler, Vinyl Scrobbler, Open Scrobbler)

I posted about the problem of not having the scrobbles visible (of one artist: https://www.last.fm/music/%E6%B2%B3%E7%AB%AF%E4%B8%80) - it's been 3 weeks now, and still nothing appeared! I wonder if last.fm is going to fix this at all. I would have total over 40 scrobbles from this artist. (there used to some; but those were gone after the latest update)

There might be an active autocorrection from the Japanese spelling to the English one which is not shown on the new website design that everyone got a few weeks ago. Maybe you can find your scrobbles here:
https://www.last.fm/music/Kawabata+Makoto

You could also disable autocorrection in your website settings to test this.

thanks... I didn't know it is possible to disable the autocorrection! Originally I scrobbled these tracks from Makoto Kawabata, and that was later directed to that Japanese version - which later removed the scrobbles totally (only visible on my 'recent tracks' list). I have scrobbled earlier Kawabata Makoto, and those scobbles seem to be still there properly. But ideally all those name versions should be on same page...

Merging wrong or new autocorrections in the database is not possible at the moment and will be enabled again later.

I am using mostly Universal Scrobbler, Vinyl Scrobbler, Open Scrobbler, and Web Scrobbler extension.

You're welcome. Maybe it also makes sense for you to edit your past scrobbles in your library, so you could use the same artist name which you prefer instead of the autocorrected version. But you would have to subscribe to Last.fm for at least one month, because editing scrobbles is a subscriber feature, see the related announcement threads.

thanks! I'll think about that 1 month subscription. it's not really very important thing for me, but at the same time my geek-level is quite high with this type of things, so I might join in... :D
