I have the same problem. My username is fifimcfeef, and I became a subscriber in 2011, but I've been locked out of my profile in 2013, and Paypal is still paying for my subscription.

Well, if your subscription is still "alive" and is a recurrent one, you surely will see this text on your settings page:

<<You have an active subscription.

If you have a recurring subscription you wish to cancel, you can do so via PayPal.>>

The link "do so via Paypal" will lead you to your Paypal account where I expect that you  can cancel the recurrent payment.

I don't have a recurrent pay method, so I can't confirm this, but I have no reason to believe this is not true !

The problem is I want to unsubscribe from last.fm as I have supported last.fm for about 12 years or so but the y hjave gone in a way that I feel is wrong and there is no way to unsubsribe. They have taken my money on 8/23/15 yet I am getting nothing for it ... the web page that handles subscriptions say I am not a subscriber. Is anyone from last.fm reading these forums?????

My whole issue with this is I am a programmer and you don't make beta software as your primary software until all all the bugs are ironed (meaning stable) out nor do you take weeks/months to get features active. The website is not ready for primetime players and should have never been deployed as such. The site is now saying that I am a subscriber however Clementine Player and other software that connect to last.fm is saying I am not a subscriber so I cannot play my library.

Your Clementine player is "telling" you this due to a whole different issue: playing songs FROM last.fm was cancelled for a year now ! (I seem to remember it was on around April 2014 when they cancelled all radio services, for everybody, and for all apps/devices)...
You had this problem with Clementine all this time, even on the old site (curious you did not noticed it until now :-) )

If you see the badge on your avatar, than you ARE a subscriber.

The bad thing is ... that if I want to renew subscription, I find NO link on my settings page to do this !
Like last.fm don't even care for anyone to do such a thing :-)
