New Album /Track info not already in database, not being added or reflected in API

I discovered this a few weeks ago - I got no response from the developers.
The function to add new albums/tracks seems to be broken or turned off.

This is not a scribbler problem, it is data via the API, not getting displayed

I'm experiencing an intermittent problem with the scrobbler failing to display the album information.

I'm playing a track, which the scrobbler successfully displays in "Now Playing" - see screenshot #1

If I then check under, "Scrobbles", then  seems to be missing "Album Title" - see screenshot #2

I then check on the website and see that the "Album Title" is also missing on my profile.

Process; Now playing -> API -> profile -> Scrobbles
It's not a client problem.

This problem only seems to be occurring on albums that don't previously exist in the database. Existing ones, scrobble properly.

So I'm assuming this means that the function of database which adds new albums is not functioning just now.

Can this be confirmed?
