Ive just noticed that just about every new release since the launch of beta has not shown up in any of the top artist charts or album rankings.  for example, the new releases from Radiohead and Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds are not shown in top plays or top tracks, and I would imagine that they would at least rank, what with them being fresh and critically acclaimed thus frequently listened to....  just something to think about....

I would expect a new release would take some time to become more popular than one of the older releases (if ever).

Hi Dustin, I the reason is because top tracks currently display all time tracks, so for established artists you're looking at some 13~ years of listening versus a few months.  Filtering artist top track charts by date range is currently in development.

While someome of the dev team is working on this, is it also possible to change the album rankings "most popular" vs. "release date" as a permanent decision in the settings? So the users could already see the current releases on the artist page.
Perhaps a reverse ranking could also be an easy to do working step in this progress.
