So, I finally decided to just flush my 300+ cached scrobbled plays, by reinstalling the client... since no substantial help was being offered whatsoever. After that, everything was scrobbling just fine... until now.

YET AGAIN, nothing is scrobbling (since yesterday). Already tried reinstalling the client and what not... but nothing seems to work, though every scrobbled track does appear in the client's history.

This will be the very last time I'm visiting this support page (and quite probably the entire website). I'm truly hoping somebody out here still gives a damn...

Having you tried going through the cached tracks to search for artist/track/album names detailed in this post? It might be triggering the spam filter. These apparently also hang up in the cache and cause everything scrobbled after it to back up.

Perhaps not, but I just can't think of anything else that can be causing it. BTW, I assume you're using the new scrobbler?

If there are any "spam characters" in the track titles, etc.... you can open your cache file in a text editor, delete them, save and close, then re-launch the client. If that was the problem, they should submit after that.

Thanks, I'll try that.

There were some slashes and brackets, but nothing truly out of the ordinary.

NP. Doesn't sound too out of the ordinary, but maybe they changed something in the database? I can't remember if I've scrobbled anything with slashes or brackets yet.

Well, that didn't seem to do anything... or I'm doing it wrong of course. Thanks anyway.

@staff: Last.fm doesn't know shit. I'm extremely meticulous, so I do indeed know better. Stop freakin' telling me how to tag my albums. [/rant]

Some albums are scrobbling, others are not... for whatever the reason.

Moreover... certain plays that never happened, keep popping up in my library at random. Whenever I try to delete them, they simply reappear after a page refresh. It truly seems as if this website is messing with me. Literally EVERYTHING went to shit after the update. I don't even know why I'm spending my precious time with this.
