Okay... so, here it goes...

The ONLY two reasons I was still visiting this websites, were my own personal stats (including the apps on my about me) and my own group (in which I was keeping a post up to date throughout the years, containing new releases). Since those seem to have completely disappeared, I have no reason to EVER return to the website AT ALL.
I never ever used any video stream or radio whatsoever, and for discovering new music I've already been using all kinds of other sources for years now. At first I was infuriated, but then I decided to at the very least still keep scrobbling... until, hopefully one day, last.fm would get new ownership and turn things back around.
However, it now seems you guys can't even manage to get THAT working properly. I just discovered I haven't been scrobbling anything since August 18th. I now have over 200 tracks stuck in cache. All solutions I have managed to find, conclude reinstalling the client and thus losing all those plays. For real??

Are you guys deliberately trying to lose users? Did you try to ruin this website on purpose? I mean, if it's true that the previous design had become too expensive to maintain, then how 'bout removing all of those useless features and keep the rest just the way it's MEANT TO BE. As far as I know, hardly anybody was using the video streams or radio. Not to mention the thousands and thousands of dead users and groups taking up space.
Dead users, because many have left due to the countless of bugs and irritations that DID NOT GET ATTENDED TO. Issues like user name changing, album tag editing, and so on and so on... you didn't seem to care about any of that, but merely continued to work on "modernizing" the website. No wonder people stopped subscribing. Even those who DO use last.fm on mobile platforms, are absolutely hating the new design as well.

I've tried my utter best to refrain from posting here entirely (since I already know it has no use whatsoever) but upon at last visiting this support page, it seems you guys have even put the forum in a third party's hands. It took me forever to even get this posted. Unbelievable. You guys not only ruined the website, you managed to ruin its legacy.

At the very least, FIX THE GOD DAMN SCROBBLING!!

I guess I'll give it another week or so, at most... after that, there's no point anymore. Then I'll just deinstall everything and forever forget about this once so great website.

The official answer about groups:

but I think you meant journals:

There has not been an official statement about the "About Me' on these forums, as far as I know, but there are indications on the old site that these will be back eventually.

No, I meant the groups. I know it's still there, but I can't post or edit anything... so what's the use?

Then again, I'm still unable to scrobble... so I'll be out of here within a week anyway.

I used the radio, it was great. I really don't want them to get rid of that ever.

I guess I'm being too "obnoxious" to reply to. As obnoxious as the website has become?

Chicken & the egg, it's never without reason.

Fishing for every (complaining) user's Facebook profile seems to be more important.
