Online scrobbling (youtube) does not associate song with album

HI,
I suspect that online scrobblings (through youtube video) did not associate correctly the corresponding albums to the song.

Take this song that I played+scrobbled a few minutes ago:
http://www.last.fm/music/Hibernal/_/Disconnection

Despite it being correctly enrolled tin the album "The Machine", when I scrobble it online, by playing that embedded video, it scrobbles without any album !
That's why I removed the scrobble done this way, and I had to play it locally, from my computer. Not that this last thing bothers me. But .... I wonder why did it scrobbled without album.

Is it a known issue ?
Is it a bug ?

Hi,
This is intentional behaviour; because, when you scrobble a YouTube video, you don't play it from an album. The same is true for when you play radio stations here that play YouTube videos, or other playlists, these are not album plays either, so we don't want to scrobble any albums for them. (For what it's worth, the radio player on the old Last.fm website didn't scrobble them either.)

It is true that it would be nice to scrobble the album if you play the actual album playlist, but we have no way to differentiate those plays at the moment.

Hope this helps :)

Cheers,
Laura
