Problem with scrobbling

Hi. In the last minutes i have problems with scrobbling. I want to scrobble some songs on VK but for some reason they can't be catched and i need to listen these songs more times until they get scrobbled. Can you fix it?

We're investigating some intermittent problems with libraries and scrobbling since the outage on Wednesday -- I've flagged your account with our developers to investigate.

Can you remember if VK uses your username and password for authentication with Last.fm (scrobble 1) or authenticates your account through the Last.fm website? (scrobble 2)

I'm using Scroball on my phone. Until Yesterday i didn't had any problems. The problem was started today. I have VK Scrobbler on Chrome as wellbut i rarely use it.

Scrobbling through iPhone and Spotify on my account starting having issues in the last two hours.  Some streaming (not local) tracks appear to be scrobbling and then do not actually scrobble.  Others do not appear to be scrobbling but then do actually scrobble when the song ends.  Others scrobble fine.  It was working perfectly this morning before that.

Same. I just scrobbled 17 tracks through the CloudScrob app (which has generally been pretty reliable) and only 12 are displaying on my page. The Spotfiy app was scrobbling just fine earlier this morning, seems as if this just started in the past hour or 2. Username is same as my account name here.

I've been Scrobbling fine until 1-2 hours ago and since then only a fraction of my tracks were submitted to Last.fm successfully from Spotify. I also had trouble adding them with the Universal Scrobbler, too. It often takes a few attempts for them to go through.

Just chiming in to say I've just noticed I've been having problems, too. I'm scrobbling from my MacBook using iTunes and the desktop scrobbler, NOT Spotify.

Like James above, I've also noticed TUS seems to have a little problem making scrobbles stick.

Hi, I've noticed the same problem today. Yesterday it was ok, but today sometimes my scrobbles not appear on list of scrobbled tracks. I must listen them second time, but sometimes even more... Use PC, win 10 64 bit, Winamp and desktop scrobbler.

Same problem here too. The scrobbles are in the cache, but some of them don't appear on my profile and seems that a second scrobbling fixes the problem for a while. My profile: https://www.last.fm/it/user/gothic_

I’ve been having issues scrobbling over the last several hours as well. Most tracks scrobble as they should while others mysteriously do not. This has been happening both with Spotify and when scrobbling from iTunes via the last.fm scrobbler, so it does not appear to be a Spotify issue.

I'm having problems too. About 15% of scrobbles go to nowhere. I have this issue for two days. Doesn't matter from where I scrobble, Simple Last.fm Scrobbler for Android, Yandex.Music or foobar2000 plugin.

Continue to have the same problems about 12 hours after initially reported.  It also seems to be getting progressively worse.  Earlier it was about 1 out 10 songs not showing up, now it is about 1 out of 3.  It is not just an issue with the connection from the player to Last.fm.  Applications using the API to manually scrobble are only working occasionally for me as well, which is also confirmed by several others in related threads.

Having this problem too. Scrobbling from both iTunes and Deezer (since Spotify desktop stopped working for me despite having tried everything that's been suggested here). Please fix this mess. :(

Having the same problem, Desktop Scrobbler is telling me the tracks are Scrobbled but am losing roughly 1 in 3 Scrobbles.

Same problem here, yesterday and today, some scrobbles just don't get added at all. It's not been fixed like the staff post seems to suggest.
