Problems with Third-party App authentication

The status page informs that third-party apps can now me authenticated, but I tried to log in my account using the QuietScrob app with my iPhone and got this message: "invalid API key. If you are a third-party developer see our authentication how-to to find out more"

How can I solve this issue?

I got that message when trying to sync the app to the account via iPhone.
When I try using the computer, I recieve a "502 Bad Gateway" response.

Last.FM thought they fixed it, but they actually made it worse. Some apps are fixed (ScrobbleMe for WP8 apparently is working again), but most are still totally broken.

Tried to allow scrobbling from brand new installed AIMP player, but it shows me 404 error page instead of allowing scrobbling page

Same problem here: trying to log into Quietscrob just redirects to a 404 error page. I was logged in but scrobbling wasn't working, so I tried logging out and then back in, and that's when I walked into that error.

I feel like the new site was launched too soon. WAY too soon.

They really should have gone over the most important issues before just uploading the whole thing with serious mistakes unresolved.

I have the same problem with CloudScrob. Apparently, reinstalling the app resolves the problem but that means I'll probably lose the 300 tracks that are still stored on there.

Sure does, going through the forum there seems to be a lot of problems scrobbling from all sorts of third party apps.

At least I know I'm not alone but I sure wish they would acknowledge the problem and give us an update.

exact same thing, quietscrob and invalid api key, I just don't want to loose all my cached tracks, so I won't reinstall it

i'm having issues connecting My Cloud Player.

while attempting to connect it to last.fm, i get the Connect application page on last.fm & click the "Yes, allow access" button, but then it just spits out an error page which states:

"An error occured...
You will be redirectred to My Cloud Player soon."

& other times i'll just get a generic 404 page on last.fm...

what's the deal? i thought 3rd party app authentication was supposed to be fixed already!

Same here, the whole Spotify integration is currently totally useless. I can't connect my Spotify Web or Desktop Player, Plex is also unable to connect.
Is there any official statement about this situation?

well, obviously last.fm doesn't care too much about its users these days as is evident by the steady decline of them/us since March of this year...

When I try to authenticate I get the message:
