FWIW and on a side note, I also liked the way the old library showed you the various albums you had played each track from - will this be coming back?
Anyway, this is possibly easier to explain with pics. This is the current state of how the library lists some of my tracks:
And this is how it should look if it was a more accurate representation of my listening:
This song is connected to two albums; the album it was released on (Mare), and some other random compilation album without art. The song's 'main album' has become that random compilation album, but it seems to have both less scrobbles and listeners than the Mare album. So why go with the compilation album as main? It does have lots of other songs on it with lots if scrobbles, maybe that is taken into consideration as well. Or perhaps the main album was chosen and set in stone at a time when the compilation album had more scrobbles/listeners, although I doubt that.
I know they are working on a huge update to their catalogue system
So maybe things will change then.
TBH, right now I'd just be happy to see any image for some songs. If the artist has an image and the album doesn't, there's no good reason why it doesn't fall back to using the artist's main image.
I have taken a lot of crap for art, simple art, so please if it is on my end have someone explain to me how to fix it, and I am fairly good with a pc.
does this look right? http://www.last.fm/user/pinkpinkpink999/library/tracks?page=3&date_preset=LAST_30_DAYS
Check the whole library i.e. live material --- NIN no cover-art? It was not missing this much art as pre-beta and I could fix tracks several ways; it has been like this since August 2015 ---we have lost the functions to fix things on our own.
