some genius thought it would be clever if instead of having the name of an artist for any of his corresponding songs from soundtracks, to add them all under an artist page named "soundtrack", this totally messes up my library the way it was, now when I play songs from a CD single from an OST, instead of being tracked in the corresponding artist page goes to this new soundtrack page, I have to check out for other artists and OSTs as well, but I found this to be completely unnecesary and annoying.

This sounds like the result of the new database acknowledging the album artist field. Do you have "Soundtrack" in your album artist field for your soundtracks?

I gotta say that's what it sounds like. I wouldn't have thought there's an auto-redirect in place for "Soundtrack". Sounds more likely that your tags are wrong from when you imported the album from a CD and perhaps didn't check the info was correct?

Or do you have a particular example in your Last FM library you can show us, Lemon?
