Can't delete some tracks | Charts showing the wrong scrobble count | Scrobble is not appearing in my library

I have just noticed that my scrobble of song Say It Ain't So from Weezer is displayed on my main page however it is missing in my library of the band.

I haven't come across any permanent scrobbling-related bugs for a long time already, but I still have a couple of scrobbles that are missing since like January. Could you run your check on my profile to fix that? Username: ienith. Thanks!

It could be a coincidence, but I've mentioned your previous reports to the team in case it's important. It looks like you didn't mention anything happening last week on the 2nd?

Anyway, let's see if this happens again next week and in the meantime it should be better now, if you can check that your charts are updated.

It was actually already back to normal later last night, thanks. Yeah last week I didn't mention anything, but I did notice a small delay for a very brief time. Normally that wouldn't be anything significant, but I had started listening to music later than normal that day so there might've been more delays earlier in the day. I don't really know, I was sort of just assuming that was the case since it's happened on all the other Tuesdays for the past month or so.

I don't know if this is related to this issue or something different - when I am on my profile page it says that I've got 5,061 artists. When I go to https://www.last.fm/user/hyalum/library/artists it says 5,080

It's the same issue, but might be due to the current database lag we're experiencing, which means charts in your library might take time to update.  The development team are currently investigating what the cause is.

Sorry about this, our development team are doing some maintenance on our database now which is definitely causing lag again, so we'll need to check again once that's finished.

So, I have 3 artists that I tried to delete. I clicked on "Delete artist from library" for all of them, and it said it'd delete them in the background however they are still present in my library. But, when I click on the tracks I had scrobbled before to try and delete them individually, it says that I haven't scrobbled the track.

The script only fixes discrepancies with your charts showing different numbers on different pages / time ranges.  I'm afraid it can't fix problems with duplicate scrobbles - you'll have to delete those yourself.

My chart isn't updating for one particular song. My weekly chart shows the song has been played but not on the All Time chart. I'm not sure if this is the thread to ask but I would really appreciate any help fixing the issue!

@Jon: this seems to have fixed all the issues I had, except for the duplicate sigur rós song I can’t edit, which remains. could there be a different issue here?

I'm afraid that's a different issue (a problem with the way the catalogue handles some characters) -- it's something we're aware of, but not able to fix easily just yet.

is there anything I can do about this, then? I can’t delete or edit the scrobbles so I’m stuck with a song scrobbled under two different titles. I’d be fine with just deleting the “faulty” scrobbles and adding new ones under the correct title

@Jon Hi, Jon! I'm having this issue.

On the artist page (https://www.last.fm/user/offinbroadway/library/music/Original+Broadway+Cast), it says I've listened to Hamilton 120x, but when I open the album page (https://www.last.fm/user/offinbroadway/library/music/Original+Broadway+Cast/Hamilton), it shows the right amount of scrobbles (252).

This also happens with Wicked, Rent, Next to Normal and Dear Evan Hansen. All other albums are OK.

I tried to find a pattern, but I think it's pretty random...

Could you please try to help me? Thank you!!

Hmm, I've never seen it off by that much before (normally it's just 1-2 scrobbles), but I think it's fixed now.

Hello.

I have been having an issue for the past six months. I cannot delete an artist fully from my account and it shows only one scrobble. When I click on the song title, it shows that I have not listened to this track yet, but still shows the artist on my library (with the one scrobble). Now there's five (5) artists I have tried to delete from my library.

Previous topics say it's the deletion queue, but that possibly cannot last for six months, now does it?

I'd like to hear back ASAP. Thanks for the reply in advance.

On my lastfm profile I have some artists that I with I could delete them from my library, but usually when I go to their profile to delete the scrobble I can't do it. Some of them says that I don't have any scrobbles from them, some of them appears to have the option to "delete artist from library" but when I click the button it loads and nothing changes.

On my profile it says that I have 183 artists, while clicking on the list it appears 194 (and the real number that I would like to have is just 180 artists, since the other ones have just one or two scrobbles that I CAN'T DELETE).

My profile is toxic-python. Please give me an answer. Thanks in advance.

Hi, it looks I have this problem too. For some songs, when I look at my 'favourite songs' list, I can see 338 scrobbles, but when I click on this value and it redirects me to the song page, it shows 339 scrobbles... Can I have chart consistency checker run please.

Sorry I forgot to reply yesterday - it was probably due to the lag caused by the outage the previous night (the charts were taking a long time to catch up as we had to process about 30 million scrobbles in ~1 hour), but I ran it on your account anyway.

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the correct thread to put this in. This is probably due to the Google issue a few days ago, but https://www.last.fm/user/enbizaka/library/music/Lake+Malawi
My library page for Lake Malawi shows I've listened to the song "Giving Up on Love" 95 times.

Clicking on the album "Surrounded by Light" shows 97 scrobbles. Then when you click on the Listening History of 2019, it displays 96. Clicking on the song itself displays 95. I've tried looking for the two scrobbles, but--they're invisible, so I don't know if they're just deleted scrobbles hanging around.

There is an issue like this in my library, too. I’ve scrobbled “Ring Off” by Beyoncé twice so far, but in my profile there are 3 scrobbles (?). Could you please fix that? Thank you very much! I love your website so much.
