Scrobbler popup is repetitive

When using the last.fm scrobbler, I frequently get a popup saying something like "It looks like you've played these tracks. Want to scrobble them?" There's something at the bottom about devices, so it seems like the scrobbler thinks I've played these tracks on a different device. I only have last.fm on this device, so that's impossible. Furthermore, the tracks listed are always the last few tracks I've listened to--which have always been scrobbled already! I don't want duplicate scrobbles. I can just dismiss the popup, but it's inconvenient.

My username is Clare-Dragonfly. I'm using the scrobbler (version 2.1.37) on a Mac running OS X Yosemite (10.10.5) and playing my music on iTunes (version 12.6.2.20). I have an iPhone, but pretty much never play music on it (and use Overcast for podcasts, so they don't sync to iTunes), so I don't see how the scrobbler could think I'm playing music on a device.
