I'm also experiencing this- around 75% of the tracks I'm playing are getting scrobbled

I also have the same problem. I only play full albums, most of them 10-12 tracks long and last.fm lists as if I scrobbled 5-6 songs from each album. Will this ever be fixed? I'll be giving one more week. If it doesn't get solved than I'm done. After 12 years of scrobbling I really think this should be a piece of cake to keep under control

Same here, at first 2 tracks wasn't scrobbled, but as I played playlist containing Seeming's tracks while ago, I had to re-scrobble half of their album by Universal Scrobbler.

Btw, even the manual scrobbling via Universal Scrobbler failed me 2 times today.

Yup, I also had to mark scrobble twice with two songs, but luckily nothing more - as I am using free account, every scrobble is important.

Same here. Just played an album of ten songs through and 4 scrobbled. It shows they are scrobbling during, but when I go back most are gone. Same with a 14 track album right now. Shows all whilst they play, just went back and only 7 show as played.

I went back to Winamp since Spotify was super unreliable. Guess what?! Now Winamp is only scrobbling a few songs. Nothing cached. AS Scrobbler shows all songs played but website shows 30-50% at most.

I had to scrobble one specific track 3 times to get it registered today. At first I thought there was a problem with my connection.

I made that mistake a while ago and then had to go back over days worth of scrobbles as it was a display issue so everything was scrobbled multiple times. Another day, another issue with the site!

I think it's just best to play your music as normal with a player that will cache the songs if there are any connection issues with last.fm. Winamp has been caching the songs since I restarted the player and sending when it can. Even the last.fm desktop scrobbler is acting weird. It's showing most of the tracks... then caching them as if it's okay, sending to website, then few minutes later website doesn't show all of the tracks.

There is only one problem with caching. As far as I know the oldest cache that still gets scrobbled is 2 weeks. Can someone confirm this?

My winamp caches everything, even that half of the playlist which is not cached either by last.fm either the site itself. So there is still some hope left. I just wander what if the future scrobbling will depend on whether Last.fm was online or not? And since there were some songs scrobbled, the rest will be lost. We'll see soon.

Using iTunes/the desktop scrobbler, I am also only seeing 75% of my scrobbles on my page. They show as scrobbled on the desktop scrobbler, but not on my profile page.

I also practice that for missed scrobbles. Or putting my audio player to mute while I'm watching a film. Recovering scrobbles is cheating done right :D

It's a shame that this is sometimes the only way to keep the profile correct and up to date.

I also had another method. I used 31 second songs (shortest ones that get scrobbled) and renamed it 10-12 times. AN album was recovered in 6-7 minutes, but that's a lot of work to do, correct tagging and stuff. :D

Use a manual scrobbler like Open Web Scrobbler or Universal Scrobbler to insert records rather than playing the tracks.  It's much faster and easier, and you can set the date and time (up to two weeks back) to when the missed song was actually played.

This stuff sounds amazing! I was using Universal Scrobbler until then for these kinds of problems (one or two albums to scrobble are no bgi deal, but I couldn't control the time stamps, yet. Thanks for the tip

I just scrobbled an 11 track album... only 6 of them are appearing on my page. Doesn't seem like it.

I’m going to listen to >50 artists collaboration tomorrow, hopefully it is all settled by then, as I will definitely hate to scrobble that much manually :D
Within the last hour it has been totally fine with my account, but who knows.

Alright, it’s not fixed until now. 1 scrobble lost after 1 successful hour of scroblles. You definitely have a problem somewhere guys.

I know this might sound really stupid, but have you tried closing the last.fm scrobbler and whichever music player you're using? I closed Spotify, closed the last.fm scrobbler, restarted both and now they're both working fine.

I just noticed the same thing.  Most of the albums I've listened to today have a few tracks missing on my profile, but they all show up in the app.

I use a third party app for my iPod, Eavescrobbler. Never had a problem with it until today. At first I thought it was just the app, but then I thought I'd check here just incase and turns out it isn't.

I hope this gets sorted soon, sick of it already. It's a good thing I normally sit every night before bed and check my daily scrobbles or else I probably never would've noticed

I'm also dropping random scrobbles here and there, they show up in the 'scrobbling now' bit but when I go to the next song, it doesn't register or scrobble. I'm Shorty5 btw.

EDIT: Now my 'scrobbling now' thing isn't working but the songs are still scrobbling... for now.

Same here!

I've played two 13 track albums with WinAmp, where only 10 of the tracks got scrobbled

(I've "rescrobbled" the missing tracks afterwards though.)

10 of 13 each I mean.
Played a third album now and about 25% of WimAmp scrobbles just disappear.

This is happening to me too. I synced my iPod yesterday and it scrobbled all the of the tracks but none of them appeared on the website (and still haven't). I synced it again today with new plays and all were scrobbled again, but only some appeared on the website (with some appearing twice). This is getting really annoying now - especially with no official acknowledgement to the issues..

Scrobbler log said 'submit OK' for everything I scrobbled since yesterday, but website displays only some of the tracks.
