What happened to the tagging feature of last.fm? I haven't logged in for a long time, but I see all my tags are gone! I painstakingly tagged all my scrobbled tags and used the search to find similarly tagged songs.

Also what happened to neighbors? I could click on an artist or song and it would show which of my friends also listened to the artist and how many times they listened to it. Now it's all gone.

I could display my artists/albums/songs listen by the week, 3 months, or a year. That's all gone now! Even my blog posts disappeared.

Please sell this website to someone or another company that would actually bring last.fm to its fullest potential and listen to its users. Whatever community feeling this website had is practically gone now. Or just completely shutdown this site instead of running a half-baked site with "updates". I've worked at web-based companies before and have never seen incompetence at the highest level until CBS bought last.fm when it comes to "updating" the website.

Tags still exist. You can tag tracks/ artists and search for new music via tags (e.g. http://www.last.fm/tag/rhythmic+noise) I have mine, but I rarely tag things anymore since I listen to a lot of music.

Neighbours haven't been built for the new site yet. There's currently an excellent community-made extension that shows how many times your friends have Scrobbled a certain artist. That can be downloaded from the thread here. The majority of work is currently going into the new catalogue, but work on social features are expected to begin within the coming months.

You can still display your top artists/ albums/ songs on your profile over 7,30,90,180, 365 days or all time and choose from a thumbnail design of 4-8 images or a list if you like. Just click the little cog icon and select a timeframe and style of your choosing.
