First of all this "We're launching a new site" thing is misleading as you are really just launching beta version of the new website with a half things missing and the other half not working correctly. Therefore I have absolutely no idea what was the purpose of launching a beta weeks ago, when you could've just easily launch this new site. Not to mention one of the staff members said just two days ago no one from the team has any idea when the new site will launch. But anyway ... As far as the new website goes, this simply has to be one of the worst redesigns I have ever seen, hands down. It seems like a site made by someone who doesn't understand its users one bit. We tried to convince you not to do it, we gave you a hundred suggestions on how to improve it, but you just didn't listen. Unless something here changes drastically in the next few weeks (and I do mean drastically) this site is dead before you'll be able to implement all the missing things from the superior previous version. In case user suggestions from dozens of your useless beta threads really get ignored it was nice knowing you, Last.fm. You will rest in pace.

Not to mention the amount of scrobbles I've lost of some artists, data that I have been collecting for months.
They'll probably say "the websites are not synchronized yet". I wonder what their excuse will be if missing scrobbles and artists still don't show up after the synchronization, though.
Will I have to listen everything again? Are they gonna get my scrobbles back? Yesterday my friend lost 700 scrobbles of an artist, but today they are back
This new design is just ridiculous. Time to move on, I guess. *sigh*

do you know any other site like old last.fm ? I want to move also if they don't remove this new version.there is no point in using garbage where I can't see my music library nor my music taste nor music tate of my friends or others and especially without any info on less known artists from other countries..

libre.fm counts scrobbles and has some charts, but doesn't have much else. i use it, and and in addition to tracking my scrobbles it also sends them to last.fm. it's free, and if more people joined i'm sure it would get more features. good luck...
the MOST AWFUL, STUPID, UNORGANIZED, NOT FUNCTIONAL CHANGE EVER! Last.fm just became a one step away from utmost garbage of scrobble site. And sorry. not scrobble, since scrobbles now don't work! so step away from utmost garbage site.
Changes aren't even.. It's like someone who never used last.fm made this stupid layout and platform without functionality! most great features for what I used last.fm are GONE now with new version. What's the point in using last.fm then if it became just any average music site out there? now we don't have LIBRARIES, JOURNALS, SIDEBAR, INFO about ALBUMS AND TRACKS which aren't connected to Spotify or other Eu/Usa sources.. TOO MUCH BLANK SPACE.
TOO WIDE AND HUGE FONT! for the sake of it's like we all have problems with sight! T_T we use PC version so why it looks like we're on mobile phone. For info which was stored on ONE visible page, NOW we NEED TO SCROLL DOWN for ages to get some info.
NO INBOX, NO RECOMMEND... nothing left which made last.fm for us lolay users to adore it and use for storing our music taste learn something new and socialize with others who wanted to know more about music and us.
This is one COLD stupid plain version which totally shouldn't be used. OR at least, let it be we can chose to use OLD or NEW version.
you'll see that most% of users will switch back to old one.
I am not bragging about changes. I love changes. I love inovation. But this isn't inovation. It isn't change. This is shit. Last.fm could never be called music scrobbling and storing site ever again if you put that new version as default.
And be sure that many users like me who are sticking with last.fm for more than 6 years and have libraries with over 6000 artists and over `100 000 scrobbles will just leave the site.
Because, what's the purpose of site which can't serve the needs of users? We like music. And new version just doesn't make it available.
