Hello!
I am a manager of Ukrainian band AKOYA9. I wanted to create the profile of this band in last fm but I realised that it was already created and even have some kind of duplicate (totaly there's two akoya9 on last fm). I want to create the original and official profile of my band, upload there original conted with links to original YouTube chanel and get rid of thouse duplicates that we can't control.
Hope for your help! Thank you!

Hello, this isn't possible with last.fm unfortunately if your band's name isn't unique, here's a few examples of how you can set out the bio for a band/musician that shares it's name with others:

No, no, no band name is unique. Two profiles that was registered are represent the same band with the same tracks https://www.last.fm/music/AKOYA9 https://www.last.fm/music/AKOYA9+Band

There is one Ukrainian band with unique name - AKOYA9. We have profiles in different social media and websites but on last fm somebody already created two profiles with name of our band and with tracks of our band.

In terms of the https://www.last.fm/music/AKOYA9+Band profile, you don't need to worry about this. This is most likely made by somebody incorrectly scrobbling AKOYA9. You should consider it a totally different band. The below link will probably explain what last.fm actually is for you:

Please see these FAQs for artists and related questions:

I’m an artist on Last.fm and can’t log into my account.
Why is my music already on Last.fm?
Why I can't I upload pictures, edit wikis, add events, or suggest videos?

You can vote for a name correction on the right side of the second band profile (also that it is indeed correct on the first profile), and Last.fm will autocorrect and redirect to the first profile when this feature will be ready for release in the future.

So that's mean I can't get control on already created AKOYA9 profile but I can vote for corretions and in this public way somehow control the account of my band, correct?

You can edit your first band profile like any other Last.fm user can edit it, i.e. edit the biography = wiki and upload images to it. But you need a certain amount of scrobbles on your user profile first before you can do that, because this is a protection against spammers.

Voting for/against name corrections is counted and weighted by Last.fm when they will reintroduce the autocorrection for old and new band profiles which will automatically redirect a visitor of the wrong profile to the correct one. This will take some more time to be released, but as the new scrobbles database has been rolled out now, it won't be very long anymore.

See also this FAQ about wrong artist profiles on Last.fm:

https://getsatisfaction.com/lastfm/topics/how-do-i-report-an-incorrect-artist-name-on-last-fm

If you happen to know the user who scrobbled that one track with your wrong artist name (maybe a friend or yourself), you could also ask him to delete that scrobble from his library. Currently there is no other way to change that wrong scrobble and thereby the wrong artist name on that band profile.
