I don't know why but at this moment are appearing a lot of scrobblings of bands that I have never listened. I've checked all my devices and nothing is wrong. Also I changed my password but this still! Someone know what to do? Please heeeeelp ):

Hi there! I'm noticing this on my own profile, and I've alerted the staff to it.

Could I have a link to your Lastfm account? Same for anyone else who is noticing this.

Managing apps/scrobblers connected to your account is currently being planned and should be going into development soon.  Sorry for any inconvenience in the meantime! :)

At this moment LastFM scrobbles music I don't listen to (and really hate also). Could it be that my account is mixed with another account.? The music I listen to does not appear on my account

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled There's something scared, please read this, support..

I'm scared, but when I activated last.fm after one hour break, I was logged as another account. As my account appeared http://www.last.fm/pl/user/zwettl19, when I'm this user -> http://www.last.fm/pl/user/Toma400. I don't know if I'm logged, but it seems like this because of not my graphic and username on "Spotify bar".
Please also notice that I send another problem (and I'm not alone) in this https://getsatisfaction.com/lastfm/topics/there-is-a-lot-of-unknown-scrobblings-in-my-count-at-this-... topic.

I hope this will be repaired soon, with these problems I'm sure about leaving this side more and more.

It might be related after all. I haven't had the erroneous scrobble issue yet, but earlier today I was viewing some recently scrobbled artists and someone else's profile was list on the top right menu, not my own. I should have screen capped. I will do so if it happens again.

Up. I will "up" this as much as they will answer us the problem (and my "addition" which they merged), even if it will be spam.

Spamming support threads is never a good idea, and staff has been notified already, status of the problem is "acknowledged".

I was unable to scrobble for several hours today and now somebody else seems to be scrobbling to my profile. I appear to be listening to an artist called Wanda which I've never heard of, while in fact I'm busy listening to something completely different... Well done, last.fm, way to go!

It still isn't fixed. I don't listen to P.O.D. - Speed Demon and certainly not 7 times. Last FM please clear my stats from other peoples listening behaviour. I can't fix it, because I can't delete the songs

Exactly same issue, tracks I have never heard of appearing as scrobbled under my account name. At present it is not possible to delete them either so it's a little frustrating

Glad to see I'm not alone with this. Seriously, make sure everything runs like it's supposed too and then release a new website, not the other way around!

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Music I never listened to is scrobbled.

I opened up last.fm today and some music that I have never listened was scrobbled on my account. I don't even have these artists on my computer or mobile device (the only two devices I use to scrobble) and I never use the website to listen to music so there's no chance that I accidentally listened to them.
Has this happened to anyone else or is it just me?

The top two are the tracks in question:

Possible related problem, when I clicked on 'last 7 days' under top artists, it at first showed me the last 7 days of a completely different account that I'd never seen before. Doing it again showed my stuff though... weird :/

I got The Raveonettes, Summer Heart, M83, Comet Gain, Sinéad O'Connor, El Perro del Mar, Darkside, Pallers, Mac DeMarco, DIANA and Mr Twin Sister in my scrobbles and I didn't even know these artists existed...    It does sound like scrobbles from different accounts are being merged into one another, since all of these artists/bands are of similar genre.

It happened after I logged into spotify and listened to a band in last.fm website.
I deactivated my account and reactivated it and the issue appears to have gone away (for now).

Yesterday evening staff tried to fix this problem which included a forced logout for some users. So please check if you are still connected in your scrobbling apps, e.g. the Spotify desktop client and reconnect if necessary. You will be able to delete the wrong scrobbles when the final synchronisation of both sites has been finished successfully, as re-enabling this option is not possible yet. This process might still take some days, see the pinned announcement on top of the right sidebar.

I just tried to update my profile and last.fm randomly decided to log me into another account (my user name is Emmpunkt, not n0tremusique):

That other user's profile information has also been overwritten with my stuff ('about me' text and name):

What the hell?!

Thanks for reporting, our team are investigating now.  When you went to the settings page, did you save anything or just back out leave it as is?  Are you still logged in as n0tremusique, or did it only happen once?

I believe it went like this:
I changed my 'about me' text and saved, and that's when the site refreshed and logged me into the other account. As soon as I clicked on the other user's name in the upper right corner, it went back to my profile. I then looked for n0tremusique's profile and noticed my information there.

I think it happened again at some point, but I wasn't really paying attention at that moment and don't know if it logged me into the same account.

Staff has been notified again about this issue. It might help if you state which language / country setting you use with your account, e.g. mine is Germany, but I use the English language on Last.fm.

By the way, the new forum software allows direct embedding of uploaded images now in case you don't have or use external webspace providers for pictures:

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.  We believe this is a different issue, though I can see why you thought they were related.  The original problem of unknown scrobbles from other accounts was resolved over the weekend, and we'll be turning scrobble deletion on soon so people can remove unwanted scrobbles -- probably not before this new issue is resolved however.

I was going through my recently played tracks in my library and on the 2nd page, it showed the plays of a different user.  I refreshed the page and it went back to mine.  Just thought it was a little funny, but it looks like it fixed itself.

my account is being used from another computer‏

My name is Bhárbara and my username on last.fm is 'babih' ( http://www.lastfm.com.br/user/babih ).
I have realised recently somebody else has been using my account and scrobbling weird tracks on my behalf. Unfortunately, whenever I try to change my password it seems the page does not buffer the password I choose.
I may sound a bit mistaken, but even if I change the password, the other person will still be connected from the other computer, isn't it right?

Please, help me. My musical identity is being murdered.

Did you log out? If you do so, this will log out all other connections to your account everywhere. Log in again and try to change your password. If this doesn't work, try submitting a ticket at https://cbsi.secure.force.com/lastfm/submitcase_lfm?template=template_lastfm&referer=lastfm.com&...
