This new site is actually a mess

The new site is terrible. Everything is wrong and bad in the worst way. The banner that separates the top bar from the central page is disgusting. I've already sent you a review about this 2 weeks earlier, and it's still there. That means that you don't even read what users write to you, and don't care either, dear developer team. Why did you create this at all? What was wrong with the old site? This new version looks so awkward that I even had thoughts about quitting your service at all. I have no choice to return to the old version, and that depresses me a lot. I hope this version won't live enough long, it is a shame that you put it live in a raw appearance. Nothing to say more.

It's pretty rare to see a redesign nowadays. Most large companies iterate on designs, and make small changes based on user research. As the needs haven't changed for us, the users, then it must only be in the business interest for this radical redesign to have taken place. I'm not sure what they are planning, or have planned, but the fact is that I have not yet read (m)any positives about this new site.

It is confusing, and the main important features (to myself, and I'm sure to many others) have been lost in the messy design.

I remember the last release, which received a lot of backlash at the time, but people quickly came to love the design. I think the big difference between then and now is that the previous iteration was still surrounding the core functions of the site. Here it is lost.

You sum up the feelings and thoughts of a lot of users. I've found myself using the site less and less since the new design due to the website not catering for my needs.

The negative comments wll slow to a trickle, which they will interprete as people 'getting used to it' but in reality a huge chunk of the users have just left

From the stuff I've read on these forums, I'm guessing that not only have they left, they have also reported to The Hague for crimes against humanity.

It's a pain to see that I couldn't ever be able to check the genre that I tagged to various songs being listed beneath something in the older version ever again. I like seeing tags, and uploding pictures for artist as well. At first, I don't care about the changes but now, I'll realized how blessed I am to have such a nice profile in such a good looking site. Of course, that is a thing in the past now. Currently, I am waiting for Hatchet to go online.
