Tracks longer than an hour not scrobbling - is there a new limit or something on scrobbling longer tracks?

scrobbling has been working ok for the most part for me after the latest hiccup - but i've noticed, i have a few mixes and extended tracks in my iTunes that are longer than an hour, and they will not scrobble - or at least they sure don't show up on the site.

they will show as "now scrobbling" on my page when they are playing in iTunes, but then don't show up when they are done. i've tested this now with a couple of different tracks, both playing them in iTunes and srobbling from an iPod play - and although my iSproggler log shows they have been submitted successfully every time, they are not showing up.

this is a new problem - these tracks always scrobbled just fine before. let me know what you can, please!

This seems to be working fine for me. I just scrobbled a track which is 66 minutes long and it appeared on my profile immediately. I will try again with some other tracks.

I have the exact same problem. They appear in "Scrobbling now", but not when the track is finished.

I'm recently experiencing the same problem. Is this issue still monitored?
I'm using foobar2000 and the according scrobbling plug in. The track I've been listening to is this one: http://www.last.fm/music/Boris+with+Merzbow/_/Sun+Baked+Snow+Cave

Scrobbling has worked fine for shorter songs before and after playing this huge one. It also appears as "Now Playing" at least for a while, but disappears soon and isn't displayed as scrobbled.

Yeah, i have the same problem with this track http://www.last.fm/ru/music/Lull/_/Continue

For example, audio tracks with length 20-45 minutes, scrobbles without any issues. But 1 hour or longer, nothing.

I remember this being a problem ages ago, like in the audioscrobbler days. Funny how all these ancient bugs are reappearing.

I noticed this last week while playing Sleep's Dopesmoker and thought it was just a random glitch.

Ah, thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I'm using only a compound for foobar2000, so I don't have access to it. Hope it will get fixed anyway.

It's been exactly one year since this problem was reported and the problem remains unresolved.
Tracks longer than 1 hour will appear scrobbling now and then disappear.
This issue is happening when playing through foobar2000.

It happens also with scrobbling tracks longer than 1 hour through MediaMonkey scrobbler. I checked with the developer, the data are sent exactly as they should be (and scrobbling now / now playing shows up), so there's apparently a problem with the website / server.

didn't quite notice so far but actively tried it out this week and will probably try it out some more.

didn't have luck with two songs via musicbee and scroblr. one track over 62 minutes and one over 122 minutes (which is a new track and has been listened by other users). both showed for a few minutes (~10-ish) and then disappeared.

from past experience i know that even if the song hasn't finished at some point it would just appear as being scrobbled (even before 50%). so something is definitely off.

Tried to scrobble a 71 minute song http://www.last.fm/music/Corrupted/El+Mundo+Frio/El+Mundo+Frio, using foobar and the v2.1.37 Scrobbler. It has thousands of listeners and scrobbles. It appeared immediately in my Recent Tracks, but disappeared from it around 10/15 minutes into the song and stayed that way when listening. Everything seemed fine in the Scrobbler application.

However, when the song was finished it appeared in my Recent Tracks again, and has now been successfully scrobbled! Seems to me to be a problem with the Recent Tracks list when it comes to longer songs, although I've only tried one 60+ minute song so far.

Thanks.
Finally.
Can't believe.
Who would expect that Trump would get elected and things would start moving so fast?
Thanks once again.
