In Top Albums, Last.fm can, at this time, only show track artists, but merges releases under the album artist tag (you see that if you navigate to your library, put e.g. "Various Artists" as artist name and look at the releases).
Be sure your ID3 tags contain the same information in the "album artist" field, otherwise they won't be collected under the same album artist but use the track artists as album artists.

And then you have 30 artists as the album artist, meaning 30 albums instead of the 1 that all the artists on the compilation are on. I wish someone would understand this properly.

This is also happening to me, with The Greatest Showman OST too. It says SOLVED up there but... it is not? I'm confused.

What are you using to scrobble ? If you can you should change your ID3 Tags so the Album artist is set to Various Artists.

If you change them now they should appear as 1 Various Artists album from your computer but & this is the same problem I have, there are not many apps that recocnise the Album Artist field. So even if you have then correct on your pc, they still will not scrobble correctly from your phone & appear as they have been. To get my library to look correct I just listen to the songs again on the pc & delete the old scrobbles. Or you could use the UniversalScrobbler to manually put them back. never used it myself though.

Ugh it's really annoying. I have to have like almost a thousand scrobblings, I am not going to delete them :/ I wish last.fm could do it automatically, like when they fix a title and group all the scrobblings together :( i guess i can't really do anything then. Thanks for replying though!!

I have the same problem, and although i can change the artist field on Last FM, the next time the track gets scrobbled - various artists does not appear again and it has to be changed manually, even though on my computer it has 'Various Artists' in the album artist field. Please help!!

I may have figured something out - at least it seems to work: once the first track of a various artists album is played, I went into my album scrobbles for that specific day (last 7 days I think is the spot) and click on the album link for that song, then the cover can be loaded to appear for each subsequent artists song on that album. It seems to also be the method to load artwork for albums not found the conventional way.
