Hi everyone,

We've just added an exciting new feature for subscribers - editing scrobbles!

See below for more details on how this works. If you have any questions or feedback on using this feature, please let us know.

Cheers,
Laura & the Last.fm team

Where can I edit a scrobble?

Scrobble editing is a feature available to subscribers.

To edit a scrobble, go your user profile or library and choose a view that shows a list of your scrobbles - that is either your recent tracks, or a track page in your library.

Open the "three dots" menu that is visible when you highlight a scrobble, and choose "Edit scrobble".

This shows a dialog where you can change the names of the artist, track, album or album artist that you've scrobbled.

How does scrobble editing work?

  • You can change the name of just the artist, track, album, or album artist, or all
  • There must be an artist and a track name; album and album artist are optional, although you need an album artist for an album, and an album when you add an album artist
  • When you save your changes, they are applied straight away
  • You cannot change the time of a scrobble
  • The dialog shows all names as you scrobbled them, even if you have corrections enabled
  • When you have corrections enabled, bear in mind that they may be applied to your edits (this means what you enter may not be what you see after saving your changes)
  • It is not possible to change just the upper or lower casing of names, due to how these are stored in our database

This feature has been updated on April 25th, 2019 with a bulk editing option, see this announcement for more info:

https://getsatisfaction.com/lastfm/topics/website-update-25th-april

"Edit scrobble" is located on top of the dropdown options since May 24th, 2019 to prevent accidental deleting of scrobbles. Also "Delete scrobble" is in red now.

Keep in mind that your browser is probably able to remember what you added in the input fields and present these in a dropdown menu, so you don't have to manually type it for each scrobble, but simply type the first or only a few letters to choose the correct input from the dropdown list.

What is the reason of delays? It's ongoing, for at least two evenings.
Give me a refund of subscription, or prolong it for the next month for free in case you're not going to fix it.

If it's not your problem, pinpoint it and name it to me.

How do I "learn more about corrections"? Does anyone have a URL?

I think that link  in the screenshot of the first version of the Edit window just led to this thread. It is not included anymore now.
