We've just deployed the latest version of the Last.fm website. The changes include:
Delete item from library
You can now completely remove artists, tracks, or albums from your library. You can find the option on the relevant page inside your library.
Historical reports (Subscriber-only)
Subscribers now have access to their full Last.week history going all the way back to the beginning of December 2016. Subscribe today to instantly unlock all of your old reports or see Last.HQ's example.
Remove current obsession
If you're already bored of your current obsession, you can just remove it. No more waiting for the week to end, or having to think of something new.

Glad you added the confirmation window before deleting Scrobbles. I was worried a misclick might accidentally delete something important. Seeing my previous Last.week stats is neat, though I had already been taking full page screenshots and saving them on my PC :)
Does it include confirmation window with "delete this artist"? I don't want to check this on my profile, but I'm curious.

EDIT Comment is what we need. Usually, I make mistakes in my writings; if I want to correct grammatical issues, I must delete the comment and submit it again.
For sure! I also wrote that a few days ago. Would be a nice update.
Deleting artists doesn't work for me. I click the link, check the confirmation window and get a 'deleting xx scrobbles' message, but after that it just redirects me back to the same page with all scrobbles still on it.
Same for me. Tried deleting one Artist and didn't work.

Sorry, we removed the option while we double checked some stuff. We're back up now so we'll show the link again tomorrow morning.

Here it still does not work
I managed to delete one track successfully, shortly after this update was released, but have been unable to delete any other scrobbles, since.
Also, I've tried disabling my adblocker but that didn't help.

I didn't try deleting artists, but removing current obsession also doesn't work. Clicking the button, I see "forbidden 403" page.
Tried mine and it worked fine.
Works from my desktop too, but from my ios tablet (I use Dolphin browser, but there weren't any problems before) it looks like on the screenshot. I logged out and in again, but to no avail. 
Hope the staff can help you with this, as I only use my desktop.

Out of interest, will you be introducing the ability to directly remove scrobbles with "unknown date"? This latest update allows us to do this but only in an indirect way. For example, say you have a track called "Song (feat. X)" and you want to remove all instances to leave only the correct track name of "Song". Previously, you may have deleted all the scrobbles that have a date, leaving just one multi-value scrobble of "Song (feat. X)" at an "unknown date" - we can now delete this if I go to the "Song (feat. X)" page under our libraries but not directly from the scrobble line itself.
I hope I've explained that clearly and I realise it's a very minor request but I feel like the option ought to be there - i.e. a "delete scrobble" in the drop down menu like you can do for every other scrobble. By extension, an option to "delete track/album/artist" in their respective drop-down menus.
I won't be upset if it won't be added, it's more an option that I feel should be there rather than needs to be there, since you can still achieve the removal.

Due to the way the library works, Bootstrap scrobbles can potentially represent more than a single scrobble. So you're not necessarily deleting one, but several. From a UX perspective, that's going to be difficult to communicate clearly, and might not be what the user expects ("why did my overall scrobble count go down by 200, when I only deleted one track?"). Whereas if your intention is to delete the track entirely, there's no real misconception there.
You're right that it's something we ought to fix, but it's one of these annoying legacy problems that's going to be tricky to untangle and will require a more significant amount of effort than it should really. That makes it difficult to prioritise against other tasks (like corrections).

That makes sense and as I say, I don't expect it to be a top priority, I'm just glad we can delete them even if it's not the most direct way.

I've been waiting for this update for a long time and nothing .... it's very frustrating.

I'm kind of confused by the option of totally deleting the album, if the best would be the option for us to be able to edit the music and the album, since what is more in this new lastfm are albums and songs duplicated by a different letter or accent , A new form of intelligent redirection would be essential and I sincerely believe that it is the main one that should be looked at now by the team, and for more than years I have been commenting here in the forum and no one has ever answered me. With this happening every release of an album ends up having a listener than the real one, if there was only, the targeting for the normal and deluxe version of the album of any artist, the site would look better even to visualize, because those duplicate albums look like spam ....
literally every user thinks this is a good idea, but last.fm staff does not....

They definitely need to auto-filter or (auto-redirect) scrobbles to albums with a "[clean]" or "[explicit]" tag in their title - this is the problem with using Amazon as a source.
The option to delete artists, albums, and tracks has stopped working. I can only delete one by one.

After almost two years, finally things are getting better! Besides the social aspects (that I have no hopes will come back ever), the only thing I'm really missing now is to sort library in alphabetical order (please do it soon).
I miss social groups and social charts. :(

I miss it too! I used to join many groups and I was an active player of the Obscure Music Game. But, at this point and considering such slowness in developing new updates, I have absolutely no hopes that groups and charts will be back again! So, I just enjoy what they're doing. But now I'd really like to sort my library in alphabetical order!
I wasn't around when groups existed, but I've heard so much about them from so many different people, and I really hope I'll be able to experience them someday.
Great you can delete artists etc but WHY have you taken the x from the list of tracks in the library? Now it's two clicks to delete a track? No select all as a replacement? I leave my spotify on overnight by accident and want to delete the tracks, now it takes foreverrrrrrrrrr. Please bring back the x.
