  • Last.week: Previous best/new record
The report overview now alerts you if this week was your best yet, and lets you know the number to beat
  • Last.week: Average daily scrobbles (subscribers only)
See how your daily scrobble count compares to the last six month's reports
  • Last.week: Discoveries and discovery leaderboard
These modules from Last.year are now available weekly

Listening time is now more accurate
  • Lyrics (currently US-only)

I'm glad the discovery stats made their way to Last.week. I'm much more interested in finding something new and building my library than just amassing more Scrobbles. But I think the discovery leaderboard could do with a small tweak. Perhaps instead of ranking by percentage, it should display the total number of new artists Scrobbled.

The user in 1st place on my Last.week chart listened to just 2 artists for the week with a total of 4 Scrobbles. That's counted as a 100% discovery rate. My friend in 2nd place listened to 1 artist two times and 3rd place listened to 1 artist 49 times for the whole week.

I listened to 108 new artists that week and I'm down in 10th. Just a suggestion  :)

Cool. Now... could you please stop putting all your new ideas on the top of the to-do pile ? Turn it upside down and you'll find that basic social features are still missing since a year and a half.

I know enough about me like that, It's OK now. I know what I listened to last week, last year, etc. Meanwhile, how many discoveries have I missed from not keeping up with my groups ?

What's up with the Last.week's update date? I thought it was going to be every Tuesday because of time zones and etc, but this week it was updated earlier and yesterday it was updated again and now the week shown on that page starts with past Friday and ends with this Thursday, what the hell?

I just saw an update on the bottom of the last.fm page for last.week, saying that Fridays will stand alone in time for new music releases. Excuse me if I've been living under a rock, but I only remember music releasing on Tuesdays.

I really like the Last.Week feature but n my mind anyway, a week starts on Monday. So the feature updating on a tuesday for the previous week was pretty much perfect. Saturday & Sunday are called The Weekend aren't they ? Anyways, trivial Perfect World stuff.

Still like it but please reconsider the update day ! Please !!

for me the week ends on Saturday and begins on Sunday, so I'd prefer that, the ideal would be that each user could define what day of the week he rather have the update since everyone has a different idea of it, but you know...

I guess it's the last work day of the week for most people. Get home on a Friday, check out your weekly stats on Last.fm and the new music releases. Kick back and listen to some music knowing you've (probably) got the next two days off.

I like it. I think Friday is better than a Tuesday  :)

I think I will ignore the "last week" chart friday-friday, because I prefer to post every week the chart monday-to-sunday.
Fortunately, at least for the charts to see and share, you are free to choose the custom range time you want in the library. So I will.

Well that is the official reason for friday. Makes sense now I guess. All things considered I would rather have Last.Week then not have it so fair enough !

Friday is the global standard for new music releases and has been since 2015.

there is no standard. most people drop a web version whenever they want to. maybe the big three and physical releases.

Why aren't you telling us what you're planning on working on anymore?
- Can we bring back BBCode on our About Me Sections? On shouts?
- Can we hurry up and bring tags back to our pages?
- Why can't I suggest a correction anymore on song titles?
- I can never upload a photo anymore unless I attempt to, have the page stuck loading, then refresh the page and try again
-  What was the point of adding in last.year, last.month and last.week? Why are you focusing so much on that instead of everything that is broken on this site?
- All I ever wanted was my bbcode on my about me section. We aren't unique users without that feature.
Please get your priorities straight. I am so tired of checking updates and seeing nothing useful being done...

we can't suggest corrections on song titles on the songs' pages because now we have the "music catalogue beta" thread where we can post our corrections... and let the staff ignore them, as in my case some weeks ago.

@ jus06 I know, it's hard for you, me and the most of the users here to accept. But try to imagine, CBSi-LFM are following their priorities as straight as possible. Once you get this imagination, try to answer your 1st question. You're smart enough to get it.

Yes, same here. Please fix.

Also, I don't think anyone from staff ever even acknowledged anything at all considering the "About me". I can only imagine it's because they intend it to stay the way it is, though I cannot fathom why.

I cannot fathom why.
In the beginning of beta, an easy structure of the site was a main rule to develope a stable site I guess. In the long-term the entire right column, row by row is a valuable place for advertising. In LFM speach: "... to make the lights on".

Remember when the sprints were bi-weekly, then 3 weeks, now it' usually over one month and there is still less and less done in such long periods? It's dead, folks - we can bitch and moan all we want and vent our frustration here but it's long gone :(

At this point, it's kinda like kicking a dead horse. We complain hoping someone is listening, but inside we know, we know it's not going anywhere.

Yah, the last update I saw was a minor redesign to the scrobble counts on the track pages.
