Great! Now, about that autocorrect option - I really need to be able to switch it off. Please can you tell us when you'll be addressing this?

You go to the website settings and turn it off. I don't see where the problem is?

This is precisely the problem - that setting makes no difference.

Ah, to be honest, I don't have those problems. All of my artists and their official releases are properly tagged.

Tagging can be quite a task when you have to handle different alphabets, spellings, typographic styles (' ’  ́ ′), multiple artists and so on. It's less problematic with well known mainstream artists, but if you pick rare stuff where not even the original publisher provides proper and consistent tags, it becomes a struggle. You can try to fix these tags but there are different opinions on how a fixed tag looks like, so you have messy stats on last.fm.

The autocorrection tries to get rid of these false or different spellings to clean up the database and improve the statistics & music recommendations, but it sometimes makes it worse. We could need a tool to clean up our libraries manually.

Yes, I want to delete so many songs and not one by one. Just would like to delete whole artists I no longer listen to.

Friends who listen to option is great, but why is it so crumpled? And why is it hidden? It should stand in a public place for anyone who is following their friends to take a glance at.

I won't complain about the fact that only ONE real feature was added in 2 sprints' time... (the other stuff are really useless/just layout things)
... at least, this one feature ("See which friends listen to an artist") is an old and relevant feature re-added to the site. Finally. We need so many others too.

(btw, it would be nice if you added time-range, so that I can see which of my followings have listened to that artist in the last year, month etc. - is this in the future plans?)

This is all great, but auto-correct is what really needs to be addressed.
Auto-correct is turned off for my profile page, but a good portion of my music is
still being incorrectly auto-corrected. Please make fixing this a priority; it's really damaging my library.

Totally agree! It is really annoying that the auto-correction changes incorrectly the files I've tagged correctly!

I've read that autocorrect will be untouched until work on the new catalogue is finished.

If I remember rightly, I've read a longer time ago, the work on the new catalogue was finished. In between a short look on the "Music catalogue beta" announcement makes clear, there's still a lot of work to do. A short report about the status quo of this core function can be helpfull for a better understanding.

Well, that's incredibly disappointing considering we haven't
had an update about the status of the catalogue since last summer.

The sad thing is, sometime last year auto-correct went down for a matter of
hours and, ironically, all of my incorrect tags (because of auto-correct) were all right as
they should have been in the first place.

The extension remains relevant, it looks better, more informative and also works for albums and songs

Yes, the albums and songs feature really is great. Lastfm only offers artist charts and even at that, it's hidden and not on the artist page.

I think they should fix this. The feauture looks bad, it's not informative and doesn't work with songs and albums. Chrome extension is really BETTER. LAST FM FIX IT

Automatically @mention artists when sharing your listening report stats to Twitter
This only works if the artist's Twitter account is known on their MusicBrainz profile. So if you know it and it is not listed on MusicBrainz yet, you can add it there.

Happy to see an old feature added back to LFM even though it might look/act bit different then before it still does the same thing. I'm just happy to know what my 'friends' listen to so when I want to share an Artist/song etc with them I can see if they have it already in their Library. When you click on the total # of plays to the right of their username you can see what Albums/songs they listened too.  Works for me! :))

This is a very substantial update, thank you. But can you please add back a few very basic features? The ability to remove all scrobbles of a particular artist, or to wipe our scrobble histories entirely! Also is there any news on what you're doing with the About section? Because it still sucks :(

Wish there were more to this update since it has been a month since the last one, but it's a step on the right track. Nice to have this useful feature back!

It would be great if you would bring back the last 6 visitors feature for subscribers and then I could start my subscription.

Why not post amazing new features like this on twitter? Anyway, it slowly approaches the point when the subcription becomes really interesting. In the past it didn't have much added value to subscribe in my opinion. A bit more like this and I could be convinced.

Most useful update in a long time. Still quite a way to go before the site is back to its old glory, though. Most needed now, in my opinion, and roughly in order from most to least urgent: Longer about me section with BB code, groups and forums, an auto-correct feature that isn't laden with ruinous bugs (and, ideally, that can be used to selectively correct old mistakes we made solely in our libraries without those having to be voted on by the members), BB code in shouts and private messages, artist differentiation (for example, I have around 1,000 scrobbles of the Swedish Shining and around 1,000 of the Norwegian Shining, but have no way of knowing which I've listened to more without actually counting the number of plays of tracks by each), journals, username changes. To be fair, some of these never actually existed, but it's absolutely staggering that it's been one and a half years and some of the core features of the old site still haven't returned.

Not to forget a way to sort your library alphabetically and a way to browse your tags at all. It's astounding how these basic functions are still not available.

The update that I need in your website is  in the Library Page. For right now all I can do is click next and previous to view pages. I need to click next button 90x to view my artist. I got 94 pages of artist in my library so it's quite difficult to browse.

There should be options in click page numbers, and view first/last page.

thanks.

I realized doing that yesterday, but is a hassle to most if you have to enter every time the page number in the URL. Clicking the page number will be faster and simpler for users.

I am more for to add "show more" button. You click it, and he automatically starts to display more and more pages. What do you think? I'm also for something like this:

yes, that would be helpful too. More efficient than typing it on the URL
