Where are my events that I have attended to in the past? I have used this as my logbook.

Don't worry, these haven't been deleted or lost, they will be coming back!

Same here. The flyers are gone too. Are they gone for good?

Hi, I still don't know how I feel about the new layout, but I do hope you fix one thing: please include the artists with 0 plays that were in my library before. I'm one of those people who go and add new artists to check them out later, and apparently 1000+ of them have been lost now.
It's really frustating........The dynamic of the site wouldn't lose if you put this info back, right?

But when will this be fixed? I've been on last.fm for over 7 years and while I like the scrobbling and consequent recommendations a lot, keeping track of the shows I go to is the biggest reason I've stayed active for so long.

Hi Pbad. I forgot what gigs I'm attending in September which is why I use the events page to keep track of what gigs I've got coming up.
I understand that our personal events pages are not online yet, but would it be possible for you to access this information? I worry I'm accidentally going to miss some of my concerts!
Thanks

Please please please bring this back! I've been working on mine for over a decade. I will never be able to keep track of them without this data. I'm such an idiot for not keeping a hard record.

Oh my god: years ago I spent a lot of time digging through my old agenda's and saved tickets and stubs: this way I collected more than 350 concerts I attended. There are a lot more that go undocumented.

Now I want to make some kind of top 25 of best gigs I have seen for several blogposts: it really shocks me that the events are still down.

@Last.fm: is it possible to turn over some kind of export of the data? Xls, csv, json: any kind of data is more than welcome!

Hope to hear from you soon!

Also eagerly awaiting the return of this feature. It was my favourite part of Last.fm - the website and API allowed me to catalogue the shows I've been to over the last 10 years, and bookmark upcoming shows.

Without this functionality, I'm left without a place to keep my calendar organized and I lose the data from hundreds of shows I've seen.

Does any other site even come close to being as extensive as Last.fm for this?

The nearest replacement for this is Facebook Events *shudder* - things like Bandsintown and Songkick are pretty limited; either only having shows that the artist themselves has created, or being dependant on listings for Live Nation ticketing.

rateyourmusic.com has good functionality, but you'll probably have to put in a lot of info yourself. But at least you can. And you can export your data also, which is nice.

I'll try rateyourmusic.com. It looks pretty old and cludgy in terms of design though. I checked out Setlist.fm earlier today, but the ability to import events from Last.fm is broken - probably due to the API changes.

Hopefully the Last.fm folks who are hard at work will share an update on this soon, so we have some idea of what to expect.

Well, for starters, this made me sure I'll never trust last.fm with my data again, no matter what, even when (or rather if?) they bring my events back. Best solution seems to be marking them on my phone's calendar, which is stored locally and synced to a few services. If only I could see my list for 10 minutes...

I don't care about the changes to the layout or other stuff, but you shouldn't just hide my data without any warning.

Hey folks,

Looks like the events pages are up and running again: http://www.last.fm/user/sNiek/events

Maybe the uproar on this page helped a bit.

Start your copy/paste engines :-)

Nice of them to let us know! Still can't add events to an Artist page.

What are people going to use instead? (as well as backing up your data)
