Home-Site dewellers; some peeps are happy @ home PPK, that Foobar - Thats all folks -tricks, things like that are "blocked" - its messed up I am missing 90% of my tracks, gone, goodbye, see ya --- and more messed up you have to come here to make sure all is "tracked" - this site was outdated, but this is a mess, well you said it right - starting to work, but slow because it is backwards / with DS at @ Git
but tracking music where (here?) new one?

The old site wasn't outdated. It worked. It has kept track of what I listened to for the past 10 years without much of a hiccup. This is what last.fm was designed to do... so you could share with your fiends and the world your music tastes however with the new site it seems that ability has gone a way. I lost 2 weeks of scrobbles when I sync my iPod Classic with iTunes. Taste-a-meter is gone. This new site is bad.

"outdated" as in economic lingo, the year after CBS took over, was break even, then they start stopping streaming? Why? that year a major loss of bankroll, and its not me on this one, but people like fluff like they like american idol - the music I listen to I guess is over tagged, basically it is underground, the artist pages were a mess, etcs - that is outdated / _________ when an artist can't fix their own page, if they are unseen whats to keep track of, now to your side;

I gained over 2,000 plays and over 50 artists, some I never would give the time to, some that never existed to my ears, "killer" top side lost 15K tracks, where did they go? why does not anyone at least respond to these issues? you know the "staff" peeps, where are they, who do they select?

extrapolating that the make over was to make stocks stronger, shareholders happy, some PR is due, perhaps service is outdated?

Last Fm was designed to make payroll, bonuses'  -- money first, has to or it wouldn't be here, and it did collecting data and streaming . . .

You have to click on What's New tab on the upper right, then click on the Track My Music tab a little lower and to the left..

Yes garynotrashcoug is correct is there but it is an awful place to have it. Probably should have it under features or even it's own pull down menu -- beside "Features"

Nice.... Can't figure out how to actually Scrobble..... But at Last.fm/downloads is a link to an article that says How to Scrobble over 600 players and services.... Going to read that when I have time.... But if they don't bring back people's Walls and the other missing social features on the new site, then Last.fm won't be worth coming back to anyway.
It was making friends who liked some of the same music you did, and then sharing groups and artists with each other that Made Last.fm.
Without the social features Last.fm is worthless, and Will die, period.

If you are using iTunes, Windows Media Player, foobar2000, or Winamp, you need to download the desktop client @ http://www.last.fm/about/trackmymusic and install it. Once it is installed I believe that it automatically installs the plugins for each of the players. If not it installed click on File->Install Plugins and choose the plugin for the media player of your choice. Some Apps like Spotify automatically scobble to your last.fm account once you are logged in. The desktop client will log you into your last.fm account. The first step is to create you a last.fm account. Not sure how to do that with the new site. Once you have your player logged into your last.fm account the rest is suppose to be automatic however with this new website alot of people have lost scrobbles including me -- the first 3 weeks after the launch of the so called beta (more like what we in the industry call alpha) I could not get anything to scobble but now I can.

You are right it was the social part of last.fm that made it great. Most of that is now MIA.
