2015 Mustang programing
I've been trying to program my 41AC050-1M Garage door opener and it will not "see" either my 2010 Explorer, 2004 Audi, 2015 Mustang. I used my "other" garage door opener remote and it works with the this one. I've followed the LM instructions and also the Ford instructions and no luck. Any ideas/suggestions? I've erased and started with a clear opener??? Confused??????

Don - All of your vehicles should program to your garage door opener. There may be different programming for each of your vehicles.
For the Audi:
-You should be parked right outside the garage with the car facing the garage.
-Vehicle needs to be running or in the accessory position.- Press and hold HomeLink buttons 1 and 3 at the same time, the LED on the HomeLink will come on solid. Continue to hold the two HomeLink buttons until the LED starts to flash rapidly, then release both HomeLink buttons immediately.
- Press and hold the desired HomeLink button you wish to program and observe the
LED on the HomeLink. When the LED starts flashing slowly, release the HomeLink
button.
- While the HomeLink LED light is flashing "Slowly" step out of the vehicle, take
the wireless hand held remote control with you, and go to the front bumper.
Note: You have 5 minutes to copy the
signal from your remote control onto the HomeLink receiver.
- Point the remote control to the right (passenger side) head light and press and
hold the remote control button that operates the corresponding garage door. Once
you see the head lights flash three times, release the remote control button.
Note: If the training time exceeds the 5
minutes, the headlights will blink once.
- Locate the purple learn button on the garage door opener located in the
garage, press and release that button quickly. Note: DO NOT HOLD the learn button, as it
has two functions, one is to program, the other is to clear the memory
- Within 30 seconds, get back into the vehicle and press and hold the HomeLink button you programmed in step 2 for 3 seconds, release.
- Press and hold the button again for 3 seconds, door should activate.
If the buttons in your car have 1 LED light, use these instructions:
-You should be parked right outside the garage with the car facing the garage.
-Vehicle needs to be running or in the accessory position.
- Press and hold the 2 outer HomeLink buttons (1 & 3) release both buttons when the indicator light changes from a solid light to a rapid flash (this will take approximately 20 seconds). NOTE: Do not repeat this step to program additional HomeLink buttons.
- Position the hand-held remote control as close as possible to the HomeLink button you would like to program. Simultaneously press and hold both the desired HomeLink button and the hand-held remote control button. Do not release until the LED light starts to rapidly flash.
- Press and release the "smart" or "learn" button once. Do not hold this button down. NOTE: Holding this button down too long will erase all devices programmed to your garage door opener.
- Within 30 seconds, press and hold the HomeLink program button until the LED turns solid. Repeat this step up to 3 times, or until the garage door activates.
- Firmly press the 2 outer Car2U System buttons for 1-2 seconds, then release.
- Go to the garage to locate the garage door opener motor and its “learn” button. You may need a ladder to reach the unit and you may need to remove the unit’s cover or light lens to locate the “learn” button. Press the “learn” button, after which, you will have 10-30 seconds to return to your vehicle and complete the following steps.
- Return to your vehicle. Press and hold the Car2U System button you would like to use to control the garage door. You may need to hold the button from 5-20 seconds, during which time the selected button indicator light will blink slowly. Immediately (within 1 second) release the button once the garage door moves. When the button is released, the indicator light will begin to blink rapidly until programming is complete.
- Press and release the button again. The garage door should move, confirming that programming is successful. If your garage door does not operate, repeat the previous steps in this section.
