I recently purchased an 821LM kit to work with my Liftmaster garage door opener. I was able to pair the 821 to the opener, and pair the door sensor to the 821, but I can not pair the 821 with my internet connection.
I have tried using an Android phone following the Android instructions, and also using my wife's iphone using the iphone instructions.
I have reset the 821 to factory defaults a few times.
Everything goes OK until the 821 tries to connect to my network, and then it just sits and blinks the blue and green lights and does not pair. The network is up and working, but the 821 just will not connect to it. Although it was close to the router, I relocated the 821 to be within a foot of the router in case there was a range issue. Still no luck
I have done all the troubleshooting tips other than #5 and #6 in the guide without luck. Will try:
Verify your router has TCP/UDP port 53 open (DNS), inbound and outbound UDP port 80 open, inbound and outbound TCP port 2165 open, and inbound and outbound UDP/TCP port 8883 open.
Verify if there is a firewall device installed (e.g. SonicWall, Zywall). If there is a firewall the UDP time out must be set to 180 seconds or greater for both inbound and outbound. If you are unsure how to set these, contact the firewall manufacturer.

What is the brand and model number of the router?
Have you changed any of the router's settings besides selecting a network and network password? Such as requiring a static IP, etc.
If the router is set to Security "Mixed Mode" or "WPA/WPA2", suggest you change security setting to "WPA2." -
