I just hooked up an 888LM to a Craftsman garage door opener that I believe should be compatible based on LiftMaster's chart (manufactured 4/98 with a red learn button) but I'm getting the slow flashing light / beeping that suggests it's not compatible. Any one have any luck with older craftsman openers? Model number is 41A5021-3C. Thanks

Beware that information about compatibility is not correct on liftmaster / chaimberlain's website. Just got off the phone with support and although they were very friendly the only option was to purchase a new logic board at $110+ shipping. I bought a fancy new belt drive MyQ unit to replace one door based on the understanding that I could get the second door internet enabled with just the 888LM. Now I'm stuck with a useless 888LM and only one door hooked up. Live and learn.
This is info straight from their website and my unit falls under that description... (manf 4/98 button is orange)

Hi. I'm having the same issue, I think. I've got a craftsman built in 99 and am getting the same behavior. Dawn, can you help resolve? Thanks.
