Can't add. Second device to place-wont learn
I'm tried following other posts regarding this. But for some reason the myq app wont learn the second garage door device. The first door is nicely added. The second door can only be added if I create a new place and add it and the code. But that annoying. I won't both door openers only Home place. Following other responses, I deleted the second place and tried to add device to my first home. I got to the learn step, pressed teh learn button on my garage door opener main unit, it turned yellow to indicated it is in learning mode. But my app on the phone doesn't recognize it and keeps searching even though I'm on the home network. Help

If you have Wi-Fi garage door openers, erase the Wi-Fi setting from second opener before attempting to pair the second opener to your current Place (the first Wi-Fi opener). If Wi-Fi setting is erased, the rectangular button between the Up and Down arrows on the opener should be no LED on or blinking Blue LED.
To Erase the opener's Wi-Fi press and hold pressed the rectangular button between the Up and Down arrows on the opener for at least 6 seconds until the button has no LED lit or is blinking Blue LED. -

Make sure your phone is on your home WiFi SSID, and not connected directly to your first garage opener.

I just easily did this (using an iPhone):
1. Set up the first garage door opener as per the instructions.
2. To add the 2nd opener do the following:
a. click the + icon in the top right corner of the screen
b. click "Add Device to Garage Door"
c. click "Garage Door Opener"
d. Click next on the following screen and push the learn button on the garage door opener motor unit.
e. The next screen asks for the Serial Number of the 2nd unit. Type it in and click submit in the top right.
Name the 2nd door.
It took me two attempts, but it connected and works perfectly
Do NOT have your smartphone connected to the WiFi signal sent out from the openers. Have your phone connected to your home WiFi SSID.
Unfortunately, you cannot order the doors in priority on the app or computer. This needs to be enabled (i.e. my door I don't use much comes up first on my app, because I added it second, and I have to swipe over to the right to get to the main door.....I know, sounds idiotic, but that is something for them to fix, hopefully).
Hope this helps -

I am having a similar issue with adding 2nd device to the first place using the learn approach. I tried erasing the WiFi for 2nd device by holding the rectangular button. When I press the yellow learn button, device blinks, rectangular button blinks blue, but the myQ app does not recognize the device.
Am I missing anything? -
