Liftmaster MyQ Service Interruption - Scheduled Network Maintenance 6/1/15
-
Since your maintenance of June 1st, I can no longer open and close my garage door. My app indicates I can only monitor the garage door position. I am unable to get the garage door app out of monitor mode only, no matter how many times I successfully program my iPhone to open and close the garage door.

Steve,
I would like to look further into this. Can you email me the email address on your MyQ account? My email address is MyQCommunity@LiftMaster.com. Could you also include the brand and model of your garage door opener? -
-
I have a similar problem since June 1st. I can monitor whether the door is opened or closed but cannot open or close it from the website or iphone app. Additionally openings are not listed in My History as per my established rules. I removed all the rules and devices from my account and reconnected them and redid the rules. This unfortunately did not resolve the problem.

Adam,
What brand of garage door opener are you choosing when you attempt to add the opener again? -
-
Hi Dawn,
I used the Liftmaster when I added the opener again. It connected with no problem and does correctly indicate whether the door is opned or closed. When I set up the new rules and hit the test button and it did send e-/mails and notifications. But when the door actually opens there is no entry in My History and no notification sent.
Thanks -
-
Adam,
Thank you so much for the update. I just want to confirm only notifications set up for opening is having an issue? Or is that the only notification you have set up? -
-
I set up two notifications. One for the door opening and one for the door remaining open for 10 minutes. I used the test alert within the setup and the test alert worked. But when the door actually opens there is no record kept in My History and no alert or e-mail sent. On a positive note I can now open and close the door through the app.

Since June 1 I no longer have anything in my liftmaster app and when I try to add it back in (the gateway serial number) it says adding but just stays at the serial number screen and never adds it - I have tried EVERYTHING it just no longer works and is now worthless. Good job on this 'update'.

I have also had issues since the outage. I did not try to remotely open or close the door but I stopped receiving notifications that the door has been open or closed and in the mobile app when I looked at it, all of my rules were gone.

Thomas,
Have you tried setting your rules(alerts) back up?

I'm also not receiving my e-mail alerts since last week and I have no more history. Rules are ok and I can control the doors via the app.
