Closing Issues on all devices

Original Install - Liftmaster Security + Model 3800PLD.  -- No Issues

Just installed the "LiftMaster MyQ Package" from Amazon which has:

MyQ® Control Panel - 888LM & LiftMaster Internet Gateway 828LM

----------------------------------

The problem I have is it will open but will not close when I use any device other then the Control Panel.  Two Android Phones, an Android Tablet, and even my Laptop.  I keep getting the error:

"The Door cannot be controlled because of too many failed attempts.  Please operate the door locally to reset and allow unattended operation."

---------------------------------

If it was just one phone I would understand resetting it, but not all devices.  (let it be known that the old devices still operate it fine, opening and closing.  Those are the 377LM Keyless Entry, and the 373P Remote Control.)

The 828LM Gateway is only 5 or 6 feet away from the 888LM Panel.  The Gateway is connected to a switch which is connected to my home router.  I've taken my laptop and tested the that connection and it's fine (10ms Ping, download speeds of 40 meg, upload 4 meg).

I've checked my safety sensors and they are still lined up.  One is solid Green, the other is solid Orange.

I've set up the Auto Close function so it will close after one minute.  Sometimes that works, and sometimes it doesn't.  When it doesn't, the door will start to move then reverse and stop.  As stated above, I've checked my sensors and they aren't blocked to cause this to happen.

With the new control panel, could it be more sensitive to things like the Cable Tension Monitor?  Going through the forums and reviews, it says to "remove the device and re-add it".  But should I be doing that per device, or the whole system?  I enabled the logging notifications to try to monitor it.  Any help is appreciated.

Also, I tried it on my Android phone in your app, and the Wink app with the same results (also, as a reminder, same thing with another Android phone, an Android tablet, and my Laptop).

Thanks!
