Frequently drops connection.
MyQ gateway 828LM/825LM frequently drops the (Ethernet) Internet connection and it is difficult to get it back. All my other devices remain connected. The 828LM is connected to a Netgear Prosafe 8 port hub. However, the connection from the phone app to garage opener does not drop.

Hi George, I am having the same problem in regards to reliability. I constantly get the "Server is unavailable" or a similar message at times when trying to use the iPhone app. I would say that my system works about 65% of the time. I currently have my gateway in a window on the side of the garage is on and have a full mesh wireless network that covers the whole house, including a wireless access point in the garage itself. I have essentially given up on the use of MyQ. Last week I purchased an 877Max wireless opened and put it outside the door, now if the app doesn't work, I just walk over and open it with the keypad. the MyQ technology was just too stressful to deal with. Hope this helps.

Thanks for taking time to reply. I hear and share your frustrations. I already have a punch pad on outside my garage. Using MyQ for the garage is not my concern. I mainly have it to operate internal lights.
