I have the 888LM and CIGBU Internet Gateway installed with my recent model Liftmaster garage door opener. When using the iPhone app ver 3.4.1, the garage door will eventually refuse to open or close. This will happen after a couple of days of use.
When I tap on the garage door picture, it will either :
- showing a spinning circle
- not do anything.
I have to power cycle my Internet Gateway every few days to resolve it. When this issue happens, I still receive notifications that the garage door opened/closed when I push the 888LM wall button so I know that the gateway is still communicating with my phone.
The Internet Gateway is located in the bedroom directly above the garage. The distance between the Gateway and the 888LM is about 15 feet through the garage ceiling. The Internet Gateway is connected to my Apple Airport Express which is connected to my Motorola SB6121 Cable Modem. When the MyQ system isn't working, my Internet still works fine.
Any way to fix this? Thanks.

Ditto, sometimes I'm on the train heading downtown before the app works. I was thinking the issue was my iPhone network going from my home wifi to LTE as I walk away but the doesn't matter. Support please

I am still running into this. It doesn't close every time. I am about to give up after two months of trying to get this to work. I have tried everything including a factory reset, trying the chamberlain app, getting a new router, repositioning the router and gateway to be close to the garage , wifi and LTE mode, scanning for conflicting IP addresses, removing all other devices from my network, etc
The closing will sometimes work and sometimes not. When it doesn't work all I see is a spinning circle on the app. The spinning circle last for 2 minutes. Sometimes it will close if I retry after. Opening works every time.
Please help. I am about to give up. -
