Garage door opener not connecting to gateway - i.e. Learning keeps timing out
I have connected the lift master learning gateway to the Internet and to my app. When I try to have the gateway learn my garage door opener light on my gateway turns orange however the learning app times out after three minutes. I've tried this several times and I'm not sure why. Please advise

I called customer service and they are supposedly sending me a new gateway as we couldn't correct the problem and they felt there may be an issue with the gateway itself.

I am having the same issue. I have the Internet Gateway registered in my MyQ account and when pressing the learn button on either the opener (twice) or the motor (once) The garage openers lights flash once but the app times out after a minute and is not finding the garage door opener.

Joe, LiftMaster customer service was awesome when i contacted them but the problem that I had is the garage door opener required a new board which they sent me at no cost.

We'll I tried the paperclip reset a few times and removed /replaced the Gateway but still and unable to add the garage door opener. Please have Tech Support can contact me over the email address of my account. Thanks.

BTW. I'm not sure why different computers are logging me in with different accounts. I'm also "Joe Brennan" at both accounts use the same email address. thanks
