Gateway Connected, Can't add any devices. Why not?
I have successfully registered the gateway. I can see it via the website application and the iOS application. I cannot connect any of the four garage doors (all Liftmaster) nor the gate (also Liftmaster). What are the potential issues?

I thought I'd update my situation, as it may help someone else with the same problem. After reading some more troubleshooting posts, I read that when adding a device, your Internet Gateway should have an orange light on. The orange light is in the same location as the blue light (opposite end of the green light). My Internet Gateway was not turning on the orange light when I tried to add a device. The recommendation was to reset the Internet Gateway by powering the device off, and powering it back on while holding the reset button. Hold the reset button until the orange light stops flashing. After resetting the device, I was able to add both of my garage doors without any issues.
Hope this helps someone else.

Lon,
I apologize that you are having a problem adding your devices to the gateway. Can you provide me with the model number of the units you are trying to add? -

ditto - just got the device. Gateway is very close to garage door opener. Will not recognize the device

Not sure how I fixed it but I ended up recycling the gateway and my computer a number of times and finally it worked.

I got it to work by adding on my pc something wrong with the app.

I am having the same issue. Just registered the Internet Gateway, but I am unable to add either of my LiftMaster garage door openers.
I'll try resetting gateway, but if anyone has better troubleshooting steps, I'd love to hear them.
Thanks in advance. -

I couldn't add any devices to my gateway either and the reset fixed it, works like a charm now. None of the literature even shows there is a reset let alone suggest using it so thanks for the post definitely helped me.

I am having the same problem, but the orange light comes on as it's supposed to but no luck adding devices. Whether I add the device via phone or PC, the light on the garage door flashes once, but nothing happens after that. The phone or PC clocks for several minutes and either times out or says the device can't be added. I've reset the gateway several times and also cleared the garage door opener of all codes and nothing has an impact. I have two separate openers and they both do the same thing. I emailed support 2 days ago, and no response. I've been on hold trying to reach their CS for 20 minutes and nothing. Not very impressed with LiftMaster. Can anyone help?
