I’m VERY frustrated

home bridge installation fails when adding second door

Home bridge installation fails every time when trying to add a single MyQ Garage that is controlling 2 garage doors.  I follow the directions from the online support document (listed below) and I am using the app.  I have no problems getting the Home Bridge on WiFi and recognized by HomeKit.  The problems begin when Transferring my existing Garage Door Devices from my MyQ Garage.  Everything works fine adding the first door, but when I hit Step 8 which sends you back to Step 2, it fails.  And since I've wiped the wifi from the MyQ Garage to get the first door working, I have to factory reset the Home Bridge and MyQ Garage and start all over again programming them.  It seems like there must be a step or two missing or incorrect as outlined below as simply starting over again at step 2 ALWAYS results in a failed installation.   When getting to step 3 the second time through (for Door #2), pressing and holding the settings button never results in a flashing blue light, just a solid blue and solid green.  And then nothing works.  Any help is greatly appreciated.  Here are the steps from this page:

To transfer devices from a MyQ Garage (Screenshots)
  1. Click Yes to add your existing devices to your MyQ Home Bridge.
  2. Select the device to add.
  3. Erase the Wi-Fi settings on the hub, by pressing and holding the settings (gear) button down until the blue LED light blinks.
  4. Click Next when the LED light is blinking blue.
  5. Locate the #1 button on the side of the hub and click Next.
  6. Press and release button #1 on the hub. The orange light will come on.
  7. Name your device or accessory and click Next.
  8. Click OK on Transfer Devices screen or if more devices need to be added, start at step 2.
  9. Click Done on the Congratulations screen.
Any ideas?
