How can you change the time zone on the website?
Ever since we went back into Standard Time my MyQ alerts have been an hour off. If the alert gets emailed to me at 11AM, the text of the email will say "at 10:00 AM, ..." I went in the website settings and my account is set to Central Time. I am in the Eastern Time Zone. Whenever I change the drop-down to Eastern Time and click 'Save', the page refreshes and it's back on Central Time. My Zip code is correct. Thanks.

Bill, I'm looking into an answer for you. More soon. Chuck

Bill, please check your zip code field. When the zip code field is blank or an invalid zip code has been entered, alerts will display using central time. Let me know if this does the trick. Chuck

I have my Ohio Zip Code in the Zip Code field. We are in Eastern Time.

Actually, it won't even let me change my Zip Code. No matter what I put in there, when I click 'Save' it just reverts back to my Zip Code. I tried it with Firefox and Chrome and they both do the same thing.

Hi Bill, thanks for these details. I'm looking into this and will let you know what I find asap. Chuck

Bill, can you please try changing the time zone within the app, by using a phone or tablet? Chuck

Anything new on this issue? I also am unable to set the correct time zone either in account management on the website or within the app. Zip code is set correctly but time zone reverts to America/Chicago following attempts to save a different TZ.
I get "Server Error (000)" when attempting TZ change from the app.- view 9 more comments

Bill, I'll provide an update as soon as I can. Thanks in advance for your patience, Chuck

I just successfully changed my time zone from the website. I logged out and back in and it remained on the correct time zone so I think this problem is resolved.

I agree with Bill. I think this issue is resolved. I was able to change my timezone and it stayed. Thanks!

Do you think that having my zip code start with a 0 has anything to do with it? I know I always have this issue when entering zip codes in a spreadsheet, it usually chops the zero off the front unless I change the field to text instead of a number.

My zip code starts with 9 but I still have the same problem. Time zone doesn't change...always goes back to Chicago time. Even changing zip code doesn't work. Nothing is updated. Logging out and back in doesn't solve it.

Updating the info via iPhone gives you Server Error (000). Nothing fixes this problem yet.

BK, look for an email from a customer support agent. Lauren
