There are 8 discussions mentioning IFTTT support and months of promises to "look into it" but we still don't have any indication that IFTTT will or won't be supported. I still have the opportunity to return my Liftmaster 8500 and would prefer to understand what I can expect and when I can expect it before it is too late to return this.
If you are going to support IFTTT in the next month or two, I may keep this device. If not, I'm going to move to a new device. It's not a threat to not do business. It's just a reasonable request to have some realistic feedback.
I'm a developer. If you need help building this thing and knocking it out, I'm happy to help if you're willing to have an open source implementation.
Thanks,
Tobin

Then there are reviews on your site for the MyQ gateway which all mention IFTTT. Are you going to ignore us forever and make promises you won't keep? -

Thanks for requesting this, Tobin. I was considering purchasing this garage door opener due to otherwise good reviews, but the fact that IFTTT isn't supported and there doesn't seem to be plan to support it is a deal breaker for me.
Any light you can shed, LiftMaster? -
