I cannot log into the app or navigate to the "Login to MyQ" through the LiftMaster website. I have also noticed some strange alerts from the app that don't appear to be related to my account.

1We are currently experiencing a MyQ service disruption. All required parties are currently involved and investigating the issue. MyQ users are unable able access MyQ via mobile or website. The issue includes false alerts and not being able to log into the app.We are taking necessary steps to restore service.

This is totally unacceptable. I had to leave work to run home and check who was in my house due to these faulty messages. Good thing I didn't call the police first!

Same here. I cannot log in and am getting notices that the garage is opening and no one is home. Also the timezone is off and so if the account name?

Nothing working here either, keep getting messages that my door opens and closes. They get hacked?

It would seem so, I can't log into my system. Also, I gotten about 4 erroneous alerts about my garage opening and closing in the last hour. luckily I have a camera in place to see the actual state of the door, or I would be on my way home now.

Good idea, Scott - since the last myQ update a couple months ago, in my experience the alerts/notifications have been flaky. I may get cameras, now, too.

I called, and they are having server problems. I was told it should be resolved within the hour.

Maybe we are getting other users open/close alerts? It's pushing notifications for some interesting garage door names to my app :)

same situation that MyQ in my place in NY doesn't work either. keep sending me that my garage door is open.

Also getting alerts open/close every 10-15 min. Some Alerts are not for my devices.

I updated my Android app about 1hr ago here in Las Vegas and am now getting all sorts of notifications for other people's garage doors opening and closing. I also cannot log into my own account. I am told by the app that, "There was an error connecting to the server. Please check your connection and try again."

It would be NICE if there was a eMail notification or Bulletin board where the Outage could be pushed out to the users so we wouldn't have to reboot our phone and be on HOLD when contacting Customer Support!!! Just SAYIN...

Agreed. I'm out of state and something as simple as a push notification stating that servers are malfunctioning would have greatly reduced my anxiety level.

Since the app update came really close to the service outage I'm wondering whether the app has a bug that is sending the servers off the deep end...

This is the first real issue I have seen in six months after installing my Liftmaster. I think that is pretty darned great compared to other online managed automation I have (cough.. cough.. SmartThings).

This is at least twice for me in a year. Better communication when there is an issue like this would go along way to making customers feel better.

I'm getting the false alerts also. I also had issues during the Wink outage during the April 18-19 weekend, my MyQ hub seemed to go crazy and it gave other wireless devices in my home problems.
