MyQ app with Internet Gateway not responding (Repetedly)

We installed the myQ Internet Gateway, added the device (Garage Door Opener), used the learn button to set (we also have the door indicator in the kitchen to indicate if the door is open and allow us to close it if open).  They all work beautifully we have three devices using the MyQ App (2 apple iphones iOS and 1 android device).  However within 2-3 days the MyQ app stops responding.  I usually solve the issue by removing the device, reading and having it re-learn. 

We thought perhaps the use of the manual garage door device (it came with only 1) might have somehow interfered with the app or use of the garage door control panel or key pad however after repeatedly having the issue this does not appear to be the case and all (keypad, control panel, manual visor garage door device do continue to work).

I have tried resetting the router repeatedly and testing the internet connection with other devices this also does not seem to be the cause.

Interestingly when the MyQ App stops responding the indicator panel (shows whether door is open or closed inside the house also stops working)  Not sure if they are related.

I am extremely frustrated and can not resolve the issue without resetting the whole thing every few days.  I keep the ladder on standby.  we are this close to ripping out the whole thing including the garage door we are so frustrated.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
