MyQ iPhone app DID work, then stopped
Got a new garage door last month and had no trouble pairing the gateway unit with it. I installed the MyQ iPhone app and PIN-protected it. It worked fine to open and close the door. However, a week or two ago it just stopped working. When I tap and enter the PIN code, I see a brief flash of a turning "please wait" type of icon, then nothing. Door does not open. PLEASE ADVISE HOW TO PROCEED.

Did you change the WiFi password? If yes, then you you have make sure MyQ knows about the change.

Make sure how? I didn't see where to do that. I did not change the password, but i did plug the device into a different router port... Might have changed its IP

Go through the MyQ setup process again. Start with setup.myqdevice.com. I changed the password on my network yesterday and had to go through the setup process to get my iPhone app working again.

SOLVED. And stupid. I didn't see that the power cord to the network switch had gotten jostled loose. And the torque of the ethernet cables had turned it away from me, so I didn't see the absence of the lights. When it said it had no internet connection, that was simply and physically true. D'oh! Works fine now.
