Hello,
I keep getting notifications that my garage door is opening and closing, but it isn't. It's been closed every time I've received a notification.
Thanks for your help.

I apologize you are receiving false alerts, what you can do is check the history of the alerts to identify if the alert is a late alert, or a false alert.
If it is a false alert, follow the steps below to resolve the issue:
- Delete the alert
- Uninstall the App
- Reinstall the App
- Create a new alert
If it is a late alert, please let me know and we will take a look at how to resolve that issue. -

It's not a late alert. It happened several times in a row without the door ever having moved.
I'll try your suggestion, but the alerts shouldn't have anything to do with the Android app as they come from the MyQ device and cloud service, not the mobile app itself.
I'll let you know if I start receiving these phantom alerts again.
Thanks,
-Tim. -

The app could be triggering the false alerts as opposed to the MyQ Device and cloud service, which is why we would like to try the above steps first. Please let me know if the above steps do not work for you.

Hello, I'm receiving false notifications again. And now I can't see the status of my garage door from the mobile app, or the web app. I'm going to return the unit and purchase a different brand. Functionality, progressive enhancement, and support for this product are unacceptable.

I've got a similar problem. I'm getting false "door just closed" notifications after the door has been closed for several hours.
