Push notifications on Samsung Galaxy S5 worked fine, then stopped working.
I own a Samsung Galaxy S5. I was successfully getting "Push" and "Email" notifications for my rule created (door open/closed). But after closing out MyQ, then restarting, I was only getting email alerts, but not push alerts. When I reinstalled the MyQ app, I was able to get push alerts again. But, again, they stopped after closing out MyQ. Email alerts remain successful. I troubleshot the following: airplane mode, power saving mode, blocking mode, and data connection.

Thank you for contacting us. I apologize that you are having a problem with your push notifications. I will need some additonal information from you. Can you email us at myqcommunity@liftmaster.com, so that we can exchange account info and investigate this further? I look forward to hearing from you.

It took a while, but I isolated the problem to my S5's "Ultra Power Saving" mode. After reinstalling MyQ, push alerts worked fine. But would stop after using U Power Saving. Standard "Power Saving" mode did not impact push alerts. Bottom line, after you reinstall MyQ, don't use U Power Saving anymore -- I've learned to live without it.

Thanks. That worked, but it took 24 hours before the notifications started.
