That device is on another user's account. Unable to add. (310)
Cannot add my LiftMaster MyQ Garage because I'm getting the message 'That device is on another user's account. Unable to add. (310)'. How can this be rectified?

Rodney - I will be happy to get this issue taken care of. I will need you to connect the hub to your wireless network so that you have a solid green LED on the hub. I will also need you to email a picture of the serial number to MyQCommunity@LiftMaster.com.

James - We need to get your opener connected to your Wi-Fi network. I have included instructions here, but if you would like to walk through it over the phone our phone number is 1-800-528-9131.

To fix this, you need to perform a reset on the device. I don't know why they don't have the instructions online for this as it's a simple fix.
There's a reset button on the side accessed by a small paper clip, etc. Unplug power, press the reset, restore power while still pressing the button, blue and green LEDs will flash. Continue holding until the yellow LED starts to blink, release reset. Blue and green LEDs will flash, blue LED will turn off and once green LED is solid, try adding it back on to your account.
I had my device for over a year with this problem because I could not find a solution and kept forgetting/putting off contacting customer service. I have better things to do than spend time on the phone when this simple fix could have been posted on their site. Hopefully this will save someone else the hassle and waste of time. -

Wait, I have to unplug the garage door opener and hold down that small button at the same time!?
My plug and reset arent even close to each other. Is this the only way to control my own door opener!? I have access to it, I have connect to wifi and reach info page on my network. Why cant LM reset in their DB?
If I reset I am fearful I have will have to reprogram my 2 cars and wall mounted controller. LAME -

Unplug the Liftmastet MyQ. Reset that. Not you garage door opener.

I have the same issue - Error 310 - because I bought a house where the previous owner had already registered this serial number on their MyQ online account. My garage door opener is a LiftMaster with the LiftMaster MyQ built into the garage door opener. So to do a hard reset, I have to unplug the garage door opener, right? There is only one power cord.
