My q works on iphone and android, but on computer I keep getting "The Door cannot be controlled because of too many failed attempts. Please operated door locally to reset and allow unattended operation." Will not work on computer just get this message. can anyone help?

The only time you get that error is when you use the website? When using the app, you don't have this same issue?
Do you have the Internet Gateway (plugs into the router) or the MyQ Garage (connects to wireless network, installed in the garage)? -

Yes only with web site. Apps work. MyQ wireless. I don't know why, or what I did, but all is working. I have spoken to customer service on issue.

I am receiving this same error with my device as well. I have a Samsung Note 4 Edge and I operated the door manually, but it will not reset. the app still displays the CLOSE ERROR. I lifted and let down the door MULTIPLE times, but the app will not reset. What do I do?

You will need to remove the hub from your account and then re-add it. This should take care of your issue.

I have the same problem with my iPhone app AND my PC logged into my MyQ account. the door opens fine, but when I attempt to close it with either device, I get this same error message.
I have deleted the opener from my account and re added it. I have also removed the opener from my hub and re-added it - nothing works. Please help. -

I am having the same problem using the IPhone app. I have deleted the app, reinstalled it, deleted the account, readded and I get one door opening and then I get the too many failed attempts error message. This is happening on several devices since last week. I don't know what to do. Please help.

Same issue. With android app. It gives the error every time I open the garage with the app.
