What Smart Home hubs supports myQ?
I am looking into getting a hub for my house to automate and control many devices. I cannot find on myQ website what hubs it plays nice with. Looking to purchase either Wink, SmartThings, or Insteon. What can you all tell me about myQ with these hubs?

Liftmaster - you need to explain yourself as to why you pulled SmartThings integration.
Why are you blocking SmartThings?
Why would you take this away from your users?
I wasn't able to setup my MyQ gateway because of an issue with your software. I spent hundreds of dollars trying to get this setup, but your software didn't work.
I waited MONTHS for you guys to fix your software. Finally! It works! So I go to add it into my SmartThings only to find out LIFTMASTER/CHAMBERLAIN pulled support! Actively BLOCKING SmartThings.
I have had over 1500 people purchase MyQ garage door drivers since January based on MY recommendation. That stops TODAY until LIFTMASTER/CHAMBERLAIN add SmartThings support back in.
As a large company with the power you have in your industry, you have a responsibility to do the right thing for your customers. Not playing nicely with others doesn't help your clients. It's YOUR responsibility to be friendly with other large companies and do right for your customers and community.
This reflects TERRIBLY on your company. If you guys can't play nice in the sandbox, i want nothing to do with you.

We have partnered with Wink. The Wink app can control home gadgets such as air conditioners, blinds, door locks and garage door openers. Wink can control Chamberlain garage door openers by linking Wink to the MyQ account.
Here is a list of features and benefits of the Wink app.
- One app to control and monitor all of your connected products.
- Clean, consistent, and intuitive controls.
- No more switching between app's.
- Control your Wink lights, locks, shades and thermostat.
- Shortcuts, buttons to quickly access your favorite settings.
- Robots, create simple robots to do stuff for you.
- Activity, schedule and monitor everything in one place.

+1 Not sure how they show a high "star rating" on their website with the amount of fodder I've seen from users of the system regarding this issue. Liftmaster could easily fix this with some clear communication and set expectations correctly.
In the meantime, there is a smartapp and device handler that gets you halfway there. It helps if you add another sensor to your door(s).

Hi joerao, thanks for taking the time to comment. We know this is a highly sought after integration, and we'll definitely announce new third-party integrations as they become available. Please let me know if you have additional thoughts or questions. Chuck

Once they come out with the home bridge for apples HomeKit things will change, well at least for people with iOS.

LOLOL!! So they're adding in support for ANOTHER system?!?!! And STILL pushing SmartThings out????
Couldn't be more irresponsible for their clients. I'm in the process of moving, and the FIRST thing i'm doing is installing ANYTHING other than LiftMaster in my new home.... If I have to make my own, I will...-
do this and forget the lack of smarthings.
You can do this. It is free and relatively easy: http://blog.blakesteck.com/post/155027037508/add-alexa-control-myq-garage-liftmaster-echo
I have walked about 10 people through this in the last two months.
Also, you can do this: https://www.npmjs.com/package/homebridge
This is a more complicated option but works well with many other solutions (Smarthings/Wink/etc...) and then your smart home devices can be controlled through Apples Homekit / Siri. I have both options working but this is because I sort of do this for work in various ways. I personally like the Homekit/Homebridge option better as an end user, simply because it ties into all of my iOS stuff. -
