When I try to add a new place I get the message - Please make sure your router is on and the Green LED is solid ON (304).
I just purchased a Lift Master Elite garage door opener and an 828LM Internet Gateway. I connected the gateway directly to my Motorola router with Infinity. It has a green light steady on. When I try to add a new place I get the message - Please make sure your router is on and the Green LED is solid ON (304). It is solid on. I followed the FAQ instructions and powered down and restarted my router. Same thing. What do I need to do to connect the gateway and be able to utilize the app?

If the serial number that you are entering is off by one letter or number, it can cause the system to not be able to communicate with the Gateway. I suggest double checking the serial number on the Gateway, making sure that a '1' isn't being mistaken for an 'f' or vice versa. Please let me know if you still experience an issue.

I reinterred several times from PC and Smartphone I'm getting the same error.

I apologize, what I meant to say was there is a serial number on the 828LM Gateway device that you have to enter. If that serial number that you enter is not the correct one, for example if you enter one of the digits as an 'f' instead of a '1', then the Gateway will not sync up. This can happen as the 'f' and the '1' look very similar. Randi helped me to resolve it. I was misentering the digits on the device. One of them is a letter.
